jus want the cold tis easier!!!

we have not got snow at the moment it is bitterly cold but dry in saying this I bet it changes tomorrow.

I have been typing nearly all afternoon trying to catch up on things.I have four big files on my table at the side of my computer I am tryhing to get it all sorted out.

Pauline I laughed at the Farner I looked four times to see what it was all about then when I saw it i burst out laughing I have a funny sense of humour

I thought you might have your lap top back by now but I suppose as it was holidays things came to a halt.
I have to buy a Desk Lamp and a new shredder as I am having to tear my papers up by hand and it is heavy going.
Last month my daughter had everything pack up within a month she had to buy a New Tv , a New Washer, a N ew Dishwasher and a Hi Fi and a fridge. she said I cannot beleive all these things went at once. three months ago she had to replace her microwave and the hot plate on her cooker.

That Farmer one was funny .

I had to run and I mean run to the loo as I laughed so much the thing was when I first read it I could not see why she said the man was grining and I looked three times then I saw what she ment and that did it for me

when I was in the Land Army they took me to the shed to milk one of the cows I nearly died . I only did it once. they put me on the market gardening side .after that,

Son is bringing lunch when he picks up his dog. Hubby took him for his walk at 6:00this morning before he left for work. My leg is not getting better so off to Drs tomorrow if I can get an appointment.
Finished the cardigan and a "beanie" hat yesterday so not been online as much.

You must all be busy.

Have done a machine wash, some towels are tumbling dry now.

Have just seen the forecast for the week on Country Ways(I think).......... don't like the look of what nature has in store for us by Friday. The south east looks like we will be buried in snow on Thursday and Friday, Oh dear.

Keep warm everyone and Rita you'd best get supplies in so you don't have to worry.

Where had the day gone I cannot beleive it when I looked at the clock just a few mniutes ago I was shocked. changed my bed sheets
I have prepared my dinner for today. washed my hair and answered some emails typed two letters out and read a couple of thread one from Annin Glos is brilliant. she says it all.

Lady your not forgotten just didnt want to intrupt your sleep.
Linda i am well tocked up thanks. I think you can always frind something to eat and drink in the cupboards.
Linda you have been busy as well. Hope your leg soon gets better.you need to perfect legs the amount of getting about you do.

Shelley I feel guilty now I have stopped research at the moment trying to get all these papers sorted so I can file them into the right families.

Linda I saw the same forecast on BBC, doesn't look good.

Son is on the warpath, he's lost his ipod and turning the house upside down and reckons I should know where it is, I'm not clairvoyant lol

Yvonne....I did laugh at your thread reminds me of my boys,they always accused me of putting away their things.....just because I was the only one that tidied up.!

Well we got back earlier than we thought it took 6hrs...but quite a good run at least no traffic jams.
Now all I want to do is have a good soak in the hot bath, heating is on full blast,so I'll be back to normal by tonight ..

Glad your back home Marilyn dont stay too long in that bath your get too many wrinkles and thats not nice.
year ago when I first stated going to Norfolk in the 1960's there were no main roads like they have now and we use to do it in 4 hours.as time has gone on the more major roads they put in the worse travelling gets

Rita..... I got wrinkles anyway .. I keep finding them .LOL

Marilyn dont look for them in the mirror I dont .
I will be 79 next month and I feel 90 sometimes but I try not to look to close in my mirror and I advoid those that magnify
I find all sorts of funny things when I do.
so I just imagine I am about 40 it does work until you go to put your make up on .
Or you get a sleepless night

Hope you enjoyed Norfolk I loved living there.would be there still if I had not got old..
It is cold here at the moment the heating is up but I cannot get warm..

Hi All
just had an apple after I had my breakfast it suddenly drop down from the computer curtisy of Google to celebrate Isaac Newtons bithday,

It is heavy frost outside I have not been out I will have to go a couple of doors down at 10 to do my washing in our laundry room.
I am booked in then for two hours.
looks like I might be lucky message left on my computer a friend Carole is going shopping this morning and do I want anything ? I certainly do. will save me a trip out.
tomorrow I have the foot clinic at 10 so hope by then the frost will have gone for a few hours.

I expect it will all get back to normal now after the festive season.

Blimey it looks extreamly cold outside here, although no snow. It's days like these that i wish I could stay at home.
