Hi everybody, I've had company all day today.

My niece and nephew came with their children, they were 2 days early, I wasn't expecting them until Christmas Eve. Luckily I already had all the food in that I needed for them.

I've had 6 kids running around screaming with excitement as they opened all their presents. They have an early Christmas at my house and then another one on Christmas Day at my sister's house.

Our Christmas day will be quiet and peaceful - just the way my hubby likes it, but I love it when all the kids are here laughing and playing.

Full house last night daughter and her fiancee stayed to avoid driving in the awful conditions.
No baby today, stuck in Reading.
Friend and 3 children here this morning, they played well having been pulled here sharing two sledges........................ by Mum !!!!
The man opposite who had a fall, did go to hospital by ambulance. They kept him overnight and scanned his head. But he is fine................ no concussion.
Hubby's birthday and youngest is back to give him his present. We advised the others against coming.
DIL slipped outside her house this morning and worried she'd broken her ankle but after hospital A&E offered plastering she came home with crutches and torn ligaments.

so it looks like most of us have had children runing round all day
and mine have all gone home as well but i still have my own kids her so not that peacfull

My goodness Linda the A & E must have been busy you way we had a Lady opposite me fall and broke her wrist I am too scared to go out I would rather go with out things that take a chance on falling over. It is quiet here no children I will get that when I go to my daughters christmas eve when they jump all over me and I get lots of kisses and cuddles.

My eldest son is on duty christmas eve and christmas day and boxing day he says it is always a busy time mostly people getting drunk and falling over or having fights A & E are always so busy at this time of the year.

It is still cold isnt snowing at the moment but it rained and if it freezes it will mean terrible black ice tomorrow.

Morning all on this cold and frosty morning,

Sue you will have to borrow a sleigh from father Christmas he wont need it till Thursday Night. you will only need a bag of reindeer food.

I just had my porriage I thought I would have something different this morning, I am still in my dressing gown recovering from lack of sleep last night.
I suppose you are all ready for Christmas trees up lights on and decorations about. how many of you have decorated the outside with lights I have seen none around here last year there was loads of houses with decoration outside.

I had a lovely evening last night with friends and did not drink too much & I won a prize for a competition..LOL a bottle of bubbly ..

Shelly you would have been to late to get here last night unless father Christmas fetched you in his sleigh ..

Hi all.

It was -6 here today, so not quite as bad as where Sue is.

I've been out all day, had to go to a couple of different cemeteries with holly wreaths and then went into town. My God that was a mistake!! After being stuck in stationary traffic for half an hour - we parked the car and walked the last couple of miles. On the way back, when the traffic came to a standstill hubby decided to go through some side-streets. Another big mistake!!

Half a dozen car drivers thought he knew where he was going and decided to follow us out of the queue. We ended up in a cul-de-sac struggling to turn the car round on the ice. After we got turned around we couldn't move because the cars that followed us were all sliding around on the ice and blocking the way. Luckily the other drivers saw the funny side and we all managed to get back to a main road, with just a few broken wing mirrors.

I did this a minute ago and they clicked me off said I was not on line I had already replied to some emails and threads.
so here goes I am off tomorrow to my daughters for a few days in Hayes in Middlesex. I told her dont come if the roads are too iced up as it is dangerous.
It is pouring of rain at the moment so I hope it does not freeze over night as we will have a bad time on the roads.

so I will wish you all a very Happy Christmas and a Healthy and Happy New year to you all .

I got my CD my sister sent that I had to pay "£1.08and guess what it didnt open so I told her not to send any more or attachments as it is a waste of money so she is waiting to get her son in law to do the Words for her so I will get them then.
