yes Pauline looking in the mirrror was not a happy thing to do. but people tell me I dont look as old as i am but I think they are being kind.

My sister went to the Grange Museum/ Willesden Libaray and found lots of information about the schools all the schools I went to the infants at St Marys.it appears the money for that was donated by Richard Freelove in 1777 and was for farmers children. but the farmers objected in losing the their child labourers so it didnt open until 33 years later.
my sister asked about us getting Dads memories published for the museum and have it put onto a CD. she said we are not after making money we wanted it as a memorial for our Dad so he told her to get it done and pass it onto the History society and see what they think so that is what we are going to do as they have lost the original tape.

she also found out who Grandfather was lodging with when he left home and now I have to think how can I find out more about her.she is a mrs Scrivener which is an unusual name but I dont know how old she was where she came from so it is going to be a hard job.

I also read your item in DFHS ,found it amusing and interesting , I have not read it through yet as I quickly tried to find your page first .

I have so much to read in my mail that it is going to take forever to get through......some bills as well , I just passed them on to hubby .
