I ma busy cooking my dinner nearly ready and I am sorting out papers. some important from the Landlord or leasholder I should say. others I am going to file as my desk looks like I am in an office.
still nice and bright outside. well must go and do my mint sauce. I'm having lamb chop broccilli and roast potato's and two little batter pudding just fancied them and apple pie and custard gosh I will be full when I have eaton that.
Mo see Anton went off last night. I wonder who will be off X Factor this evening.

I'm off flying tomorrow lunch time, Gotta fly to New York first then 4 hrs wait for the next flight to Bristol.
So a long old haul....be in UK about 6-30 am Tuesday morning.

Got me thermals ,socks woollies, coats and if I had a hot water bottle ,that wold be heaven in the car traveling back to Plymouth ...LOL

Lovely time with our friends yesterday. Journey not too bad. Saw the new baby again. She is still under 7lb and just like a doll !!! Her hands and feet are so tiny.

Raining again. More shopping later and must try to get to the post office.

Yep Shelly did go out dropped an Xmas tree and a buggy down to the charity shop.
Got more knitting wool and some thread for the name settings, oh an importantly food for the birds.
Posted a birthday card.
Paid a bill at the bank and then back home.

Must try to put up the tree soon. Have got our wreath on the door and candle bridge in the window and a few other festive bits around.

Hi All well Linda and Shelly as you seem to be the only one on here at the moment late getting on here this morning had my washing to do all finished now ironed and put away. typed a couple of letters and prepared my dinner chicken and chips I thought it would be easy as today was a hard one.

I have a small xmas tree I usually put up with the d ecotations but not sure if I will bother this year. I do have three hanging on the wall for my christmas cards to slot in.
I am going to start doing my Autobiography now I keep doing a little bit then leaving it and doing some more. but now Dads is finshed I have more time for mine. also have to put more names on my family tree.

Hi all

The books as you call them are not for pubishing they are the story of my Dad growing up in 1908 to 2001. l; sent a copy to my son and he was so pleased I said there are about 50 or more pages of his life after he left school but they will take longer to type out as I have to sort them first.

Mine is my life growing up in 1931 onwards but l have lots and lots of pages but I left a lot of stuff out that I suddenly remembered so I am typing those out to put in the right order.I have photos of my schools and my class with all my friends in and I can name all but three of the girls. I have a certificate of an award I got for having three poems put into a book in Norfolk money going to the childrens charities cannot remeber the name of the book now and I have lots of things like that the certificate I got from the scouts HQ for service and a silver badge they gave me.
so it will take me a longtime to sort that out but I want to get it done quickly as I am getting old now.

Shelly I use to write poetry years ago and had a lot published and read on Radio Norfolk,.
I have also written childrens stories as my Grandchildren loved me to read to them so I wrote childrens stories still have them somewhere.
when I moved here I joined a writers club but dropped out when my eyes started giving me trouble .
i have written short stories as well but never had them published it was a hobby to me. . and I didnt have that good an eductaion as it was during the war and we have a lot of class interruptions due to the air raid warning we were always in the air raid shelter.
