Well so far so good , it still seems to be working ok

Fiona, its quite a while now since you ordered your new laptop isn't it ? i'd be onto them wanting to know how much longer its going to be , is it a special one you want ?

Had a restless night , hubby has a tummy bug he was up several times in the night just making it to the loo in time !!
He had a little bit of toast for breakfast , i'll cook him some rice and some chicken for his tea ,and hope he can keep it down.

Hope you enjoy your meal Frank,nice to have a meal cooked for you with no washing up to do after !!

I always buy the seeded bread ,i find the white bread always gives me terrible indigestion ,it seems to lay really heavy .

Really lovely outside , bet its nice at the coast ,lovely day for walking, maybe we'll get there next week ,seems ages since we went .

Poor hubby he's longing for a cup of tea ! he's only had water to drink ,i think a cuppa might go through him !!

Feel less harrassed today! no word from Laura, but have been boyed up by friends and family, who feel like you guys, so that's what we're doing!!! back still a bit stiff, but nothing like as bad as it was. Cold but bright here today, started turning out the greenhouse, (am leaving it), feel I've made a start!!! Roast chicken, roast potatoes and cauliflower for lunch, smells good!!! cleaned the birdbath the other morning, it was filthy, don't know if the birds mind or not, but I do!!!

Mandy I hope you don't catch your OH's tummy bug.Is it just the trots or sick too?I think an empty tummy for 24 hours other than water is the thing to do,and no dairy products.
Just had a chat with Chris and have decided I don't want to wait over 3 months before my eye appointment ,so will go private.I don't think he could stand me worrying for that long lol.It will be at the Woodlands (Frank knows) it is the same hospital where Ros has been for her back injections.
Liz you will hear from Laura when she is ready lol She will just have to get used to the idea you will do want you want.As you said you are not in your dotage yet .

I hope i don't get it to Jane, hubby was sick on Friday now he has the trots ,although he hasn't been now since early this morning .

Son rang and said Jake has it now , he was sick in his bed this morning .

Yes go for it Jane , three months is a long time to wait ,you'll only be worrying all that time , hubby went private for his second hip replacement ,he decided he didn't want to wait like he did when he had his first hip done , he was in and out and back to work within three months .

Cor , i could just eat a nice roast ,i'am having a jacket potato ,only me to really cook for ,hubby's not really bothered about having anything .

Me*h said 2-3 weeks, OH is getting fed up with me nagging him to send another e-mail, seemingly in the beginning 2 weeks went by and we got an e-mail saying they were waiting for new parts to arrive, another couple of weeks and they e-mailed us said new part was in and computer was being built.
last week OH got e-mail to say work compleate just waiting to do the final test. so I was hoping it would arrive last week.
OH says whats all the fuss about you have a computer that works just is very slow & it freeze's sometimes, it's about 10 years old now

The weather is lovely today I had a short walk earlier.

I love bunnies and think it is sad to kill them they are gods creatures but understand they do eat everything but maybe thats because people kill them and used to eat them poor bunnies do not all get on to me thats just
my opinion.
I saw a fox across the park it looked very hungry and nasty Jasper ran over to him and started barking.

My family did worry about me having a heart attack then I did not ask for it

I still have worry Mohsens mother is having a kidney transplant and Mohsens supplying the kidney they are doing tests at the moment.
I did against my better judgement phone him and begged him to go into things first he just volunteered being the only compatable family member
and having had a kidney operation I can amagine the trauma giving a kidney to a mother who is very very ill going blind and never cared a day about him but I say would I do it for my mum yes. I think the man is mad he moans now Tunisia is awful no money no jobs no administration no holiday makers and thousands of people from all the other countries who demonstrated against the leaders powers all flooding into Tunisia.

Mohsen said he went home to give his mum this kidney and wants to come back afterwards I find it hard to trust him and do not know what to say my daughters business really but I liked the lad. I do not need the worry.I am struggling through a lot of messages you have posted trying to catch up.

Beryl and Donnie called yesterday I needed a laugh he called her
pussycat ears and she called him my little Donnie Wonnie I was nearly sick lol .My ho calls them lanky and droopy dont ask me why. Ho is very rude when they visit but do you know they seem happy at the moment.?
For anyone who does not know these characters its a old school friend in her seventies and her now established in age 36 years old husband who looks like a metal works with his studs and things all over his body. Not that I have seen all over his body perish the thought.

When in hospital I caused a stir I walked all the way to the toilet from my hospital bed with my nighdress up showing everything to everyone was asked if I was mooning. One old man said hey warn me if your going to do that again and I will put my specs on. I was glad of the humour. Felt a right silly moo.

Hi Everyone

Still no baby. Hazel has just woken after her afternoon nap and she is going to watch the footie with daddy while mummy has a sleep.I have made pork loin stuffed with pancetta and onion and apple crumble for tea. I also made another batch of flap jack which has been a disaster as no scales, implememts and another oven, still it will eat as they say.
We are still not sure when we are coming home so will let you all know if there are developments.
Sorry not to be [part of the chat at the moment but hope to be back to normal soon

Hi All, just catching up, haven't been on for a while. STILL waiting for replacement computer, I know just what you mean Fiona, mines about ten years old too, and certainly been used to the max with the kids coursework and downloading music etc. Now I want to use it the damn things kn***ered.

Good to see you back Sheila. If I have to use the Ladies when I'm out I always check my skirt isn't tucked in my knickers. Good you can have a laugh about it though.

Have had a busy weekend, went for a meal out Friday and then to see Blood Brothers, really enjoyed it, out for another meal last night for daughter's 30th birthday, I wish I was as light as my purse ....lol back on the old cross trainer now get some of that lovely food off.

Sheila ,it's great to see your humour again re Beryl and Donnie,and you waltzing down the ward doing a Moonie!!!!.At least you cheered someone up lol.Mos has made his choice Shiela.I do think he is doing a wonderful thing for his Mum,but please don't stress yourself out about him.Just concentrate on yourself for now,and get yourself back to full health.That is the most important thing.

I posted before I left Rutland, but it didn't go through. (I can't find it)

We had a wonderful lunch. Roast beef, pork and turkey. Loads of different veg, Yorkshires, sauces and gravy. I didn't eat much, didn't feel hungry. but the others enjoyed their meals.

We sat watching Red Kites sitting on the thermals, over Rutland water. I think we counted five. but they kept dissapearing as they turned. so might have been more.

We got home about 5.45. Cat was making a hell of a noise as we pulled up, he was sitting on the drive, as though he was waiting for us. He only wanted a fuss, and more food !!!!

Going to get myself a sandwich of some sort, and watch my African programme.

Before Christmas Ellen was advised to lose weight.
Not only has she lost 2 stone and kept it off, her BP is normal and her cholosterol level is down.

Weighed myself today and I am 7stone 8 lbs, I have put on 4lbs since Christmas. thats good for me.

Happy Birthday Shirley! I hope you have a really good day! My word David, Ellen has done well with her diet, I've managed to lose about 7lbs in the last couple of weeks, but I think that has been running about after Ian (!) and after hurting my back, which seemed to put me off food for a day or two, so I'm not sure my weight will stay off!!! Lovely day here, not quite so cold, making vague moving plans!!! A bit concerned that the cottage IS a bit small to say the least, but the house we are in is too big, and it will be nice not to have so much housework,and not so much garden to keep. New place is bigger outside, but that is mostly paddock, so not too much mowing, also cheaper to run!!! must stay positive!!!!

Been trying to get on here for over an hour. No connection to the Web. I think the compter is getting like me OLD AND WORN OUT.

Good frost this morning Now lovely clear blue skys.

Have just cooked down a load of liver and minced itt for the CAT. as he is getting so old, and his teeth are falling out, he can't seem to be able to eat normal cat food. I am also boiling up mince with gravy, It's something he can lick up. He also has lots of Whiska# Cat Milk. lots of vitimins in it. I hope they look after me this well, when I get passed it !!!!!

you will miss the big house to start with but you will soon get to like the smaller house . The house we had before this. Had a 20 foot square kitchen, 40 foot by 25 ft lounge 25ft square Dinning room, with Bedrooms and bathroom up stairs the same size. They cost a bomb to heat and with both working with two grown uo men(SONS)in the house it was difficult to keep as clean as Ros wanted it. Also had 1/2 acre of garden to do at weekends. Now it's a doddle.

Fiona you a built like a feather duster, I could swing you around the rooms to get rid of the cobwebs !!!!!
