Everyone seems to be in the wars. Hope you are all feeling better soon. Since I've been using the cross trainer my health seems to have improved, touch wood. Have more energy too although it does take a strong will sometimes to get on it when I would much rather just sit and watch tv. Have been buying new clothes, A SIZE 12, can't believe it, so I can't give up now, think I need three separate wardrobes, one for size 12 one for 14 and one for 16 just in case .....lol

I love school holidays. When I go out with the ironing about 6 pm the roads are clear, in term time it's bumper to bumper.

Nice to hear from Michelle, glad Sheila is on the mend, she will have to do as she's told though once she's home.

Evening All,

Well he's gone to another local match tonight and today was saying about watching Leicester City on Saturday (he can get a half price ticket), then on Sunday he wants me to drop off and pick up he and his dad from the usual match!!! I'm footballed out I think, but at least he asks if I mind. Come summer I should be able able to pick all our trips out with all these brownie points I'm getting.....

I've sorted 2 birthday presents for him today, some walking boots and a new shaver. I got him a book the other day and now he wants a book on the history of canals if I can find one.

Nice to here from you Maureen........size 12!!!!! That is brilliant and a credit to you that you have kept up the cross trainer exercise. (mental note made.....Ann must try harder!!) I loved the pic of little Alfie on the steamer base, he likes the warm spots doesn't he. Hope he's on an even keel with his health now.

Sounds a good idea to pop to the docs Fiona to check out your headache and light headedness. Headaches can be very wearing at the best of times.

Frank, thanks for letting us know you are ok. Look forward to hearing from you when you feel more like it. Enjoyed the e-mails, a good chuckle!!

Jane I meant to say earlier that I bought one of those Doughnut bird feeders. I had the one for the fat balls. they love it and I get about 6 blue tits on is at once. It is so nice for them to have room to all get on together.

I took a pick out the window buts it's not very good.

HI Everyone, Ian progresses! he fed and mucked out Merlin this morning which was brilliant!! my back has been very painful, but only bruised and battered, no serious damage! I recorded 'Ancient Britain' Jane, as I watched ,The Real Kings Speech, on Channel 4, so I can watch Neil Oliver later today! I watched 'Killer Queen' on one of the history channels last night too. It was fascinating as it explored the death of Amy Robsart. Some old manuscripts have come to light including a coroners report on her death. It was reckoned that the poor soul was almost certainly murdered, but NOT by Elizabeth 1st, as the tiltle of the programme is implying! Coffee time here now so, see you all soon!

Morning Liz and all

Oh well done Ian.That is good news Liz.I bet Merlin was pleased to have some attention from him.
I hope your back eases up soon.
I'll be back later but need to get things done in town and be back by 12 as the gas man will be here between 12 and 6.

Morning Liz and All,

Usual dullish day here.

Liz that is progress with Ian if he is out and about with Merlin. Bet Merlin was glad to be back in the old routine. Did you tell us that Merlin had a trap he pulled? I can't remember!!

Wonder if Sheila is out of hosp today as I think the girls said she might be at the end of the week.

Ann at least you can do what you want to do when OH is at footy. It is good he has an interest as otherwise he would be under your feet all the time. I know I get on great on a Wednesday evening when OH goes ringing and can see what I want to see on the telly.

Afternoon All,

Just been to the Records Office for a talk on Wills and Probate. Quite interesting.

A lovely sunny day here and I would have gone to Hopton Hall by now to see the Snowdrops, but OH wouldn't change his BP check appointment with the nurse and said he wanted to come so it will be too late by the time he gets back.!! We'll have to go tomorrow now when the forecast isn't so good.
