OK I'm back - it is like Siberia out there.

I suppose you're all busy rummaging through your wardrobes finding exotic things to wear for the shoot - which could be in Bermuda.

Berona Report 6 Dec 2010 23:34

It's time for most of you Brits to snuggle under the bed-clothes - and time for me to get some work done around this place. See you all later
Have a good restful sleep or have a good day - whichever applies!

Persephone Report 7 Dec 2010 09:54

I will take July, it is our winter and I will wear a swandri and gumboots...

Will you be the photographer Tec and will you wear your stilettos?
Miss Febbers can do the air brushing and tweaking.

I am also a cross dresser - I get cross when what fitted me one year does not fit me the next.

Carolee Report 7 Dec 2010 10:22

Hello Persey,

Tec did say the photo shoot is in Bermuda, so you may be a tad warm in your wellies, lol!

Any one looking in will think we've lost the plot completely, wonderful, isn't it :-)) oh well its that time of year, I suppose....

Carole, who cant spell December.

Persephone

Persephone Report 7 Dec 2010 11:04

Hi Carole

I read where he said it could be in Bermuda, but I now see where he did agree to Bermuda. I don't do summer weather very well, more happy to put more on than take more off. I think back view might be best of me.

Was watching Al Murray the other night - he is a very funny guy. He said "My wife said gee it is cold out there not fit for man or beast, so we both stayed home."

I don't fancy being July without my wellies. Are there actually 12 of us plus Tec - perhaps Colin will have to wear a wig and take on a bit of cross dressing as well.

11.57pm and off to bed

Persey xx

Oh and I will probably not be on here that much - my eldest daughter is not very well and is not allowed to drive, so whilst she is still going to the early childhood education place where she works, she can't take her own children to their appointments etc so we are doing shuttle service.
Life is a little bit problematic for them at the moment. High school is finished for the year and the eldest has to go to the orthodontist on Thursday, she may have to have surgical treatment. So we are taking her mother and her to see what we can find out.

Calendar Girls 2011.

Miss January = Vacant.
Miss February = Linda.
Miss March = Diane.
Miss April = Vacant.
Miss May = Sue.
Miss June = Vacant.
Miss July = Persey.
Miss August = Berona.
Miss September = Sandie.
Miss October = Vacant.
Miss November = Vacant.
Miss December = Carole.

So calendar girls, we have five months not covered?

Should Janet look in, she may come on board, if Pam doesn't get lost in the long grass she may pick a month,
and if Pat ever looks up from the very good book she obviously found, she may also join you. Have I missed anyone?

We need a theme for the shoot - suggestions welcome.
For those of you insisting on wearing your wellies, though I can't think why, as this will disguise those elegant legs, perhaps a farming theme could be considered, artefacts like pitch forks, milking stool, tractor etc.

Pretty girls draped round palm trees on exotic beaches has been so overdone, we need some original ideas.

Carole - I lost the plot a long time ago, and fear I may never find it again lol.

Tec........4-35pm.

just looking in quickly. I forgot that we are off to a Christmas meal this evening.I don't know how long it will go on,so I may not be around.
It is bitterly cold out there,so I don't really want to go out, but one has to show willing

I haven't read back through the thread very far but I see there is a calendar in the offing , if the location is Bermuda I think I'll dress as a Triangle and be Miss October ,if that's ok ?

Persey , I hope your daughter is feeling better soon x

I'm not getting here as much as normal , it is such a busy time and on top of Christmas I'm doing the December birthday hurdles .

We already had two December birthdays to contend with , OH 's is tomorrow and third childs is on the 18th ( she will be 18 this year ) , now this daughter is attached to a young man who is 21 today ( so I have Emily for the night to give them some peaceful time together ) . Also , my sons G / F ( mum of Bella ) is going to be 21 on the 14th . I will be having Bella for the night on Saturday ( first time she will have been away from Mum and Dad overnight ) , so they can have drinkies and a houseparty .

It's busy , busy , busy here .....lol

Berona

Berona Report 7 Dec 2010 20:52

Tec - I'm glad to see you are organising it. If we run short, perhaps one of our 'occasional' visitors might see it and join in. Otherwise, I'm quite sure we can get someone to double-up. How about the duchess? She doesn't need to post to be part of our little group. As for revealing out lovely legs - I did have good legs once - that's why I'm not keen on revealing them - they make me remember what they used to be like and I want to cry!

Hope Linda is enjoying her Xmas meal. I'm going to a lunch later this morning with my former neighbours.
