Heather, These are the only records I found. From the Passenger and Immigration Index 1500-1900. This database only gives basic info. Those traveling with most likely will be found on the publication noted. Name: Edward R. Betts Year: 1867 Place: Illinois Source Publication Code: 1437.10 Primary Immigrant: Betts, Edward R. Hi Rose,I am looking for immigration details of Henry Marple b1859 .He is still in Bilston Staffordshire in 1901 with his family.His daughter Sarah Elizabeth b1890 died in Winnipeg Canada 1929.She was married to William Cushnie,but I dont know if she married here or Canada.Would like to know if any other family members travelled with him.Many thanks Lindy

Hello Rosemary, Could you see what you can find on James martin Browell and his wife Thomasin. James and Thomasin nee Todd were married in Newcastle upon tyne, Northumberland 1882. I cannot find them on 1891 census for England. James Died at `the union home, Colorado Springs, America` on 30th nov 1893. Many thanks Linda x

Name: James Browell Arrival Date: 16 Nov 1888 Estimated Birth Year: 1858 Age: 30 Gender: Male Port of Departure: Liverpool, England and Queenstown, Ireland Destination: New York Place of Origin: England Ship Name: City of New York Port of Arrival: New York Line: 22 Microfilm Roll: 527 List Number: 1544 No Thomasin travelling with him. Don't see her on any later passages. Perhaps she died before James came over. Rose

hello Rose, Thank you for the information on James M Browell. I only have his Obituary, which had been put in the local paper in newcastle upon Tyne via one of his relatives ie, his brother! James was my Gt grandfather`s brother. I will see if I can find a Death of Thomasin. Thank you again. Linda x

Rosemary, I can see you have had a lot of demand for your kind offer! I would be really grateful if you could find any trace of the following in the immigration records: William Halsey, b.1803 Shoreditch, London Christiana Halsey (née Tickle), b.1810, not sure where They married in 1832 and went to the US, I think New York, where 2 of their daughters were born - Frances in 1833 and Charlotte in 1835. They had returned to the UK by 1838 as the duaghter born 1838 was registered in 1838 in the UK, as were all subsequent children. I'm crossing everything as I have been unable to find any evidence that they went to the US other than the place of birth of Frances and Charlotte on later England censuses. Thanks in advance for looking. Helen

Helen, Not seeing them on the immigration records. They came and went between census years, however, prior to 1850 the only specific information provided was name of head of household and where they lived. Sorry I couldn't help you. Rose
