well I am here Marilyn I am going to have a cup of tea and go to bed early tonight as I have been feeling tired today I expect it is the rushing about and trying to do all my little jobs trouble is I will wake early and then not beable to get back to sleep did you see that about John Prescott on a thread one of his ancestors had four children by her own father and then she married the guy next door and didnt invite him the the wedding it appears in the poor aera of Wales in Mining district this happened a lot when the wife died. how awful. what a shock to find that out.

I expect your got good weather sunny and hot. lucky you are you spending Christmas out there. ?

Hi Girls I have been up since 7.30 but had to have a bowl of corn flakes I felt hungry.
It was a misty morning when I looked out the window then I saw the cars outside had a slight frost on them brzzzzzzz.
Not sure what I am doing today I have a lot of things that I would like to do but not sure if I will .
I have got Dads memories nearly finished now three more pages and that is it makes 34 pages. I thought i had finished till I got my sister to bring the papers Dad had written over with her then realized I had left a lot out..
I need to go to town as well so l will have another cup of tea and think about it.

Everyone out here has gone mad with Christmas Decs a bit over the top really,.........people are trying to out do their neighbours , we have to laugh at them ,
mind I think we are getting like it back home now .

I typed some things out earlier and it would not connect it told me I was not connected and i had answered emails and threads this has happened three times in the last week so I dont know what has caused it so here goes again.
I went into Town this morning left here at 9 o'clock I went into five shops and walked around brought some wrapping paper for the childrens presents and some bits from the card shop, went into Boots got a couple of gift vouchers went into HMV and got some more gift tokens brought myself two dvd's "The Barchester Chronicles " and " cranford " I can see them when I cannot get out due to bad weather I get a lot of DVD's off the family at Christmas and my Birthday I know they wont have brought these as they speak to me and mention films and Dramas and i know they are trying to find out what ones i want I dont let on I know what they are upto.
I went into prirmarks and brought some thick black tights then I went into Smiths and then walked around the Market before getting the bus back home I had been out nearly three hours and I was dead tired.but thought i had better go while the weather is fine as tomorrow could be wet and win dy.
hope you have all had a good day uptill now anyway.
Marilyn make the most of that sunshine and heat your need winter woolies on when you get back to England.

Hi everybody, I've been busy the last couple of days, been out most of the time. I got another couple of Christmas presents today, and I picked some new wardrobes as well. I'm getting the old ones taken out in a fortnight and the new ones fitted in on 17th.

I forgot to tell you Pauline I got two lovely photos taken in 1918 of Pound Lane School the one my Dad and Mum went to and also got a lovely photo of one of the classes taken in 1920 of Empire Day (remember empire Days at school. )

My sister went to the Brent Archives and spoke to one of the curators there and he got them for her she told him that Dad made a tape when the Grange Museum was then in neasden and asked if they had it he didnt know but said he will have a look and let us know. but he said a lot of the stuff they had got lost. so fingers crossed it wont be my dads tapes.

I'm glad you got the photos, and I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get the tapes as well.
