I'm up early today.........because LINDA wanted A reminder to PHONE THE DOCTOR ...

Rita you have been busy with all your family for Chrissy presents !
I want to come home now and put up my tree !!
Now thats what I miss all the preparations for Christmas,how can I ever think of Christmas here in the SUN ?

I have just spoken to the Dr.
Thyroid NORMAL !!! But still being refered to the hospital to try to see what is going on with the weight and hair, think he said Dietician?
Worried about blood sugars................... right on the limit , suspects diabetes.
Worried about the liver, possible choloestrol.
So another fasting blood test next Thursday.
I should loose weight by all these blood tests alone.
Thank you all for your concern. I'll keep you posted as and when I learn anything new myself.

Shelly I have bad eyes and I thought they had gone haywire all thoses Doctors Lol.
Marilyn I dont think I would like to have christmas in the sun either. I think of a Christmas as a snow occassion even when we dont have snow. my couson Marion in New Zealand always telle me what they have done for Christmas day sometimes they had a B & Q.
Pauline thanks for the emails I read then all and enjoyed them all.as I said I was answering Hot Match requests when a load of emails came thorugh.
Linda at least your get some answers that is the good thing about it but it ia a worry when you get told these things., and if your doctor is sending direct to the hospital you should not have to wait too long for the appointment
Susan seems to have got my permission through as she has not come back yet.

Linda......now you might have to join me then , that's how mine started border line Diabetic one week next week bang the real one !!
Dont worry about it , its not the end of the world I have knocked at least half a stone over the last two months , and strangely enough its been easier than I thought .
Got more yet to come off ....LOL
My Cholesterol is OK but they do go together often .
You at least exercise ....no worries there with all your running around.

Thank you Marilyn and Rita. Hopefully next week the results might be better.
My Mum is diabetic and she started on just tablets when she was 70 but in the last couple of years she has had to have insulin(now aged 81). Dad seems Ok. But his Aunt is also diabetic and has just been put on insilin she is 79.
I have a few friends who are diabetic so can ask them for ideas too.

Linda I can't believe your blood test was normal, something must be wrong somewhere. You run around more than the rest of us put together and yet you still gain weight....Very strange.

Rita, that was hardly worth the bother of changing your appointment for the sake of half an hour. You probably would have still been sitting there at 11.30 anyway.
Can they do anything about your Glaucoma? Can they stop it from getting any worse?

Hi, All
Oh got me not ONE but TWO bracelets , they are only silver but one has some diamonds on it........happy now all I need is a new ring to go with
them LOL....pushing my luck a bit there ..!
Anyway father Christmas might surprise me ....big hopes !!
Rita my stepmother has Glaucoma,not nice is it, she does struggle to read a book , mind you she has had it a very long time and she is 96yrs so fair wear & tear.unfortunately.
Off for my lunch.....x

have had this for about 7 years they gave me eye drops three lots I have t to put in twice aday last tme I went he said put two in twice aday they told me it was bad so I cannt do anything about it I just do as they say. it had not change from the time before. like you say I am always there early anyway and I always have to wait hour or more .
once they gave me three different appointment each time I got a letter with a different date so I never know sometimes till the last moment if they are going to change the date or time.
I managed to vote earlier no prolem but they change the letters that is why sometimes they refuse to accept your vote.

Hi Everyone..
Just been for my walking exercise on the beach
Now its time for a whiskey & Coke .
MO, go easy on the necklace..........its taken me 6mths to get
THESE bracelets .LOL
Its just gone 4-15pm and its hot.....now I don't want to rub it in , but just letting you all know its HOT !! ....LOL LOL LOL.
So I'm going to lap it up as I know what is facing me when I get home ....!!

Morning Mo. Marilyn. Linda. Pauline .Shelly Sue snd everyone I cannot remember names of this morning.
Marilyn when are you coming home ? or are you spending the Christmas out there in the HOT SUNSHINE as you keep telling us to upset us while we shiver in the cold.perhaps you can bring an extra suitcase home with you with the Hot and Sunny bits in there for us.we wont complain.
I suppose Sue is with her horses, and Shelly with her Olly Linda is busy making the tea and Pauline buttering the crumpets Mo is catching up on her sleep dreaming of Darts and becoming the top team
Have to go shopping this morning gettting things in for any visitors I might have tomorrow. as far as I know my daughter and her husband are over their bad colds so they will be here.

morning all
baby is poorley and just after my last post yesterday we took him to the hospital and thay have keep him in over nite
the DR say he has broncoliteas well some think that sanded like that
his been on the oxcgent all nite and only take about 2oz of his feed it took from 1pm till 8pm last nite to get him to drink 6oz of feed so thay also said somethink about giveing him the tube so he dont dehighdrat
i left the hospital bout 10pm last nite and as yet i dont have an up date on how he is
i have to be out all day to day so daughter will text me on his progress
i should be back about 4pm so will let you all no how he is then
unless she text me befor i have to go out then if i get time ill pop on to let you all no
