no Paul, can't pronounce that! mine is Yvanidze - my cousin's wife, eastern european I think? also dad's aunt married a Buteux and his cousin's grandson (tenuous I know lol) married an Averkiou. all my direct lines are english names though, most unusual is Duplock - east sussex/kent name Maz. XX |

Paul, I've come across a De Jong in my ancestry. I'm working from memory here because it isn't in my GR tree and I'm at work but I think it was a Susan De Jong marrying a guy whose surname was Stoaling (this is a rare surname). I don't know how common De Jong is as a surname in Netherlands, so this may be of no interest to you. If it is then let me know and I'll look it up when I get home. Andy. |

Paul, De Jong is a common surname in South Africa. The only Hackart's on the site are all in my tree and the strange ones are common ones to me, if that makes any sense. Lindy;-)))) |
