Showed the article to OH before he went to work..his thoughts......

The bloke should buy a pay as you go and not tell her about it then he can speak to who he likes.

Raised my eyebrows at him and he said ...well if you were phoning up my friends or work colleagues and behaving like a bunny boiler it'd be either that or leave.

He's got a point I guess lol x

Reading his e-mails might indicate some degree of interest.

He doesn't let me see his bank statements,Couldn't stand the interogation. 'Why did you spend all that?' 'You could have bought it cheaper than that?' Where did that two bob go?'

forgot to say - we both have computers.

Some emails for OH come to my computer. I have no idea what emails he gets on his. I know his password, but have never looked at his emails.

We share one e- mail address only.
I can tell when messages are for him and don't open them.

I never open his snail mail either and would be annoyed if he opened mine.

Boy are we odd, judging by the comments on here.
We have one email account; joint bank accounts; use one credit card and whover gets the post off the mat opens it, regardless of whom it is addressed to.
It's called love and trust.

Brian, I agree with you but their is a difference between love/ trust in that context

If you love and trust your partner then their should be no need to spy/check on their messages/emails

spying or checking messages in this way certanly indicates a lack of trust and or jealousy

Surely though, Piglets Pal, If you love each other, there is no need to stray, or give the impression of straying, thus negating the need to snoop in the first place.
Just an observation.

I love and trust my fella, but have no interest in reading his e-mails or his post (especially the bills!) We also have separate bank accounts, debit and credit cards.

Having said that, I don't think Brian is spying/checking or jealous - they just do things differently, which is their business.

Absolutely, there is nothing to hide.
Mind you, the time I came home from a business trip with a pair of ladies tights in my bag did cause a bit of friction !
