When you hang clothes on a hanger, do you put the hanger on the rail with the hook facing away from you or towards you? I do one, my OH does the other and it drives me mad! Is it a difference in the sexes? :-D

Facing away too.

I work in a ladies fashion shop and the hangers have to face away as well. When it is a forward facing rail the hook has to go from left to right - like a question mark.

As a holiday job whilst waiting to go to Uni, our daughter worked in a well known sports clothing shop. They were instructed to hang alternately, i.e. one hanger with open end away from you, next hanger open end towards you, and so on. This was so that nobody could run in, grab and handful of items and run out again!!

Facing away, as for OH, he would just grab any hanger and "shove" the clothes onto it.
I put most of the clothes away, but sometimes he tries "to help" ha ha.

I think most men probably hang them as you see it the wrong way just to show how petty something like this can be. ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)
