	Well to most Blokes they,re known as Wives. :-D but having been divorced for 30 odd years I can afford both now. :-D :-D :-D :-D

	Well, ladies and gents, seems it is a man thing after all. barbaras reason is good, it is easier to take the hanger down if it faces away from you, its not tidiness gone mad! Thanks for answering.

	We have separate wardrobes so in there mine are always facing away. But we have a rail in the airing cupboard and invariably if OH puts the clothes to aie (he irons them), theya re every which way. So, when you take them out to put away it takes ages to sort them out.
