Frank what woman are you talking about please or have I missed something???? :-S

Off shopping this afternoon in a minuet.

As to the waking at a late hour it could be because of the hour difference but then again I am going to bed earlier than before it anyway!! Perhaps I am getting too much sleep.....................

<3 <3 <3 HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAT <3 <3 <3 Hope you have a good day.

I'm sitting here eating my carot and humous dip reading about Mel's mouth watering meal last night, sounds delicious.

There seems to be a lot of what you can and can't eat when you're pregnant these days. Daughter has a whole list of no no's, including processed meat and certain cheese, I ate anything I fancied when expecting mine, but it is better to be safe.

Trying to get hold of my son about the tele, he rang me last night, they have gone to Norfolk for a couple of days and a neighbour rang him to say his house alarm was going off so he didn't know whether to make the 3 hour drive back didn't think it was the right time to ask about my tele. Did anyone see the apprentice, just wondered who was fired.

KIM thank you so much for the lovely Birthday card it is beautiful and so spring like I loved it and all the way from Australia.I will send you a message later the computor will not put me on the aol at the present time.

After all that lovely sunshine its freezing here and yesterday I developed a pain in my hip after getting my feet wet .i knocked my hip later on a chair and my leg just buckled from under me it was a bit scary.

Kim how are you doing. 27 sounds good for the weather lucky you its brighter but still cold here and yesterday was so windy it blew my new little tree down someone gave me.
You must get fed up with all the treatment still if it makes you feel better
but wish I had a magic wand to help you.

Mandy sorry I never thought about a water shortage its always bucketing down with flipping rain here. What a shame your pool cannot come out.
Still first sunshine then snow and cold our country is barmy weather wise.

Mel would love to see you Bell ringing I hope your dinner was nice or is nice.

Frank so sorry your brother died and William I do hope you are feeling better.

Sophia my big friend came and she had to go to hospital for her gastric
band.

When Sophia arrived at the hopital she told the nurse she had come to have a Elastic Band because she was fat. My ho was there carrying her bag and he just collasped laughing.
A massive pair of jim jams was placed on her bed and she insisted on removing her false teeth right when the specialist came to talk with her.

April was on the phone and Jessica was going mad saying come off the phone and stop talking silly. Daddy Ryan had been to visIt some condoms she said. it should have been Condoes and it was her and Shermans new joke. I said that Sherman boy seems to be a bad influence April and she said yes but he is a nice kisser. Jessica I think took over because she went off the phone very quickly April and Jess wished me an happy Easter.

HAPPY EASTER everyone.

Maureen took your advice of board about Matt dying you are right of course. i was visiting his grave this last week end. I tell him everything.
i was sitting there all peaceful and this farmer Giles type man came up and said one of my sheeps got a tick in his ear will have to take him down .
I thought he said put it down and I said what just for a tick in its ear
and he glared at me and said you ever had a tick in your ear will drive him
mad.I said yes but to kill him is a bit much and he said No me dear I take down from here into town. He went and Matts mum laughed a lot like my ho and said that was funny I felt very stupid. being Welsh i could not understand what he said and did not see him arrive. it was the first time Matts mother was nice she had a face on her like a toad all over the week end and was moaning she missed her gran kids.

Jasper got a bottle of honey out of the rubbish bag yesterday and covered himself then went and rolled in some leaves Oh he did look funny. I had to bath him it was not my bottle of honey the neighbour threw it over the fence . We have lots of Queen bees and I was very angry with this women
first it was chicken bones and now honey.

JANE how are you I am glad your friend is recovering nicely.

is our Shirl ok.

FIONA I was looking at the photoes of Sofia again. I showed them to Sophia this time. I do miss little granchildren Mat would have been nice to see over Easter. I could not buy my usual chocolate eggs and things for them and Jess said do not send any.

will read a few threads .

Happy Easter everyone. A quiet one for us, so I will be around, as usual LOL.

Maureen you could get me started, but I try to enjoy myself on here. I have been very weepy the last few days, but I always get a laugh on here. It all helps!!!! I would really like to take flowers down to my grandfather & gg.g.'s graves, but they are in Sydney. I haven't been able to visit in so long. Might have to wait for another day.

Having so much trouble with the Error Page and it logged me out before.

Jane I hope Chester is improved today.

Just to tell a little story, as you were all talking about funerals the other day. My mother's father passed away in 1972 and she travelled to the country to attend. The service was completed at the graveside and then everyone was passing on condolences etc. My uncle and another fellow ended up in a push and pull fight and my mother landed in the pile of waiting dirt...... Apparently, my uncle had been having an affair with the other fellow's missus. My aunt and the other woman also went for each other's throats and had to be separated. Before anyone realised what it was all about, the family moved off abruptly with mum in tow and the excuse that she was overcome with grief and had created a scene. LOL Who said funerals can't be fun, especially when all the skeletons come out to dance!!!!! Wish I'd been there to see it all, haha.

Mel are you sure the red wines didn't help with the sleep. Good for you, stay in bed and sleep away, the chooks can take care of themselves!!!! Sounds like you had a lovely evening.

Have a good day everyone, hope Sheila is ok after her visit to Wales. How's the back today Shirl?

Frank these women are always full of botox and other bits - no substance and inflated sense of self. Don't get worked up, they all love publicity!!!!

;-)

Cheers for now and have a happy day. 11.58 pm EST - almost Good Friday.

Hi everyone,
Not feeling so bright today, think maybe it's these antibiotics I'm on. However, they are better than 'the problem' itself!!!
It's our Great Granddaughter No, 1's - First Birthday today, where did all that time go, can't believe it. Happy Birthday Maggie : - )
Yesterday morning our daughter called in here with with Maggie's brother Ralph, who's turned 2 now. He is a little sweetheart and so good. He was in transit from staying over at our daughters back to his Mum's ready for Maggie's birthday today. I got the proverial box of cars out for him to play with, but when the snow started coming down thick and fast, our daughter was keen to be on her way. Well, Ralph put a pout on and said he wanted to stay at our house. We were highly honoured but I'm afraid the logistics and weather were against it. Eventually a bag of crisps did the trick get him out to the car. As we told our daughter, there's no 'naughty stair' at our house! He was being a normal, loveable little boy and we love him to bits.

I was supposed to be out yesterday, first at our Carers Group meeting at lunchtime, then to my model car club in the evening. In the end I cancelled both as I just don't feel up to it yet. There's always another time.

Monday night I fell asleep in the middle of the drama about the lottery winners syndicate, so I caught up on IPlayer yesterday afternoon instead. That Kay Mellor certainly writes some good stuff. I love the way she gets people down to a T.

Last of One Born last night, Wednesday nights are going to be quiet from now on with no screaming mothers. I thought the young girl was brilliant, not a peep, she made childbirth looks easy!!! Good luck to her, her baby and her family, she was a bright light in todays world of the young. There is a special on tonight with a look back on previous mothers etc.

Anyway, may be back on later, hope you are all having a good day. Hope Frank is feeling better and cheering up a bit.

TTFN (I guess that's the forerunner of todays text language!)

Hi all,

Mel. This women said she was so beautiful, that women hated her, and men bought her things, paid taxi fares, bar bills etc. because she brightened their day with her smile and beauty. (Just going to be sick !!!!) I don't think she has a mirror in her house :-D :-D :-DI had a phone call about an hour ago from my niece and nephew. two of my brothers children. Both saying how much I was Loved by the whole of their family, They couldn't understand why my brother turned on me, might have been his medication.
Both would like to see us at the memorial service at the local chuch and to the crematorium, but understood that it would be a long drive for Ros, in her condition. and that it might be upsetting for me. Butr if we were able to make it, we would be most welcome.

The funeral is likely to be next Friday when we will be in Hastings, but the date hasn't been confirmed yet.

It's made me feel happier that they understand.

Kim, Did you get the card.??

Back again
Mel it sounds like you had a great evening.Pinching some of your OH's food too lol.Yes I reckon the red wine and whisky helped you have that good long sleep :-D

I have a scratch on the side of my car ,that some lovely person left for me :-S :-S.I know sometimes people try and squeeze the supermarket trollys in between the cars rather than walk the long way around to get to their own vehicle and scrape the paintwork. Some folk just don't give a damn do they.

We have blue sky for the first time today. It certainly has been colder.

Kim. Chester seems fine today thanks.I think I fed him too much yesterday and have changed his food.He was probably suffering from a full tummy and wind lol

Happy Easter Kim.. :-D :-D :-D <3

Well back from shopping and wish I had'nt been as it was so busy. People in the isles all waiting to get past and they had put those baskets in the gangways with special offers in which always mucks things up.

Anyway it is now over and done with for another week....... :-P

Sheila it sounds as thoug there could be a little romance going on with Sherman and April. Jess should keep an eye on that.

Hope your hip feels better tomorrow.

Jane was it the other gt grandfather you were looking up for Fitz?

When you said you were doing some searching I had a quick look last night Jane and couldn't believe he was aged 99 in that census. A good age for those times! His wife was born in Ireland too wasn't she.

Glad you enjoyed your meal Mel. I find now OH is retired that I have times when I have few lie ins!! We do often go to bed later now though.......I really NEED my beauty sleep! :-D

Frank, it can't have been the easiest call for them to make.......sounds like they want to be friends regardless of the funeral.
