Frank ,you need to find the stop cock for that nose of yours lol. Mine did that and I ended up stuffing tissues up each nostril when I was upright :-S.Even weeks on since my cold I am still getting Catarrh affecting my ears.At least Ros knows you won't be getting into trouble while you are in bed .

Evening All,
Yes, then he can fit new washers to stop it dripping Jane!! Sounds like you have got a good dose Frank. I can't remember a streaming cold lasting so long either!!! Stay warm and comfy and eat what you can. Lewis can be Nurse Gladys!! :-D
William, my ragbag has all the things that will go in a bag in the dustbin for their rag sorters. No thongs here and never will be! lol Can't be comfy or hygenic and fitting how they do, well, a small 'accident' would be a full blown 'disaster'!! I have kept a few things back so I can remove some pretty mother of pearl flower buttons and beads I can use for jewellery. I came across the velvet dress.....and some trousers I used to love.......both with tiny waists again. Loads of skirts in black and navy from my working life have been turfed out too. I took 14 carrier bags of stuff to the dog's home charity shop this afternoon......could hardly close the boot!! I could only see a little white Jack Russell type today in a little green coat and he didn't half have a deafening bark for such a small dog!! OH has decided while I am 'on a roll' with sorting my clothes, tomorrow he will empty all of MY stuff out of HIS wardrobes for me to sort......yikes, I'd forgotten about those!! lol :-0
Little Grace sounds like she is doing well and behaved very well for her gt grandparents. Looking forward to seeing a photo of her.
Fiona, I wish my housework was like that......go out and come back to find it done! Your porch is nearly finished on the outside now. You mentioned some shops closing where you are...........I noticed a couple near here today were having closing down sales......a gift shop and a pine furniture shop :-( More premises standing empty for ages I expect.
Oh Mandy how exciting!! No need to tell us, just say what colour wool you are getting!! :-D

Family left about 7.45pm and now it all quiet again, phew!!!
Poor Frank still feel rotten
Sofia didn't want much dinner, but had two cups of juice and was feeling warm, I think she is coming down with the cold that I have had last week and her Mamma had over the weekend , that means it's gone round everyone else but SIL maybe he will get it after Sofia. I wouldn't be surprised if she was the one to bring it in at the begining :-| :-| :-(

it is not very nice in Birmingham at the moment wet and windy and the usual dull days it would be nice to go for a lovely long walk with Jasper and I am sure he would be more happy he seems a little down at the moment my little Cairn terrior.
Jessica told me to say hello to Mel for her kind wishes .
I do hope you had a happy birthday Mel I sent you a card it may be a little late.
Hello to Kim and Jane and Maureen and Annx and Fiona and of course Melenie. I have not been able to send much the computor had a good overhauling today after little fingers stuck all my keys with all sorts of sweet stuff eaten while sat on the computor.
I cannot get on to the latest pages to read the latest threads which is very annoying I do not know what I am doing wrong.
I went to a meeting today for speedy neighbourhood cleaning the road meetings but the people were so old it would hardly be speedy one lone young man and me the rest were all hardly able to get around. This young man called Ian and I made for the exit when pretending to go to the loos but got caught by another organiser just coming in the exit funny man and had to go back and sit it out for another half hour we gave our feeling clearly to the organisors that we thought these volunteers were too old and left I do not feel anything speedy would happen. if only people would clear up the rubbish they make it would not be necessary
hope you all have a nice evening .

Jane, have sent you a PM.
Sheila, I love those little Cairns with their wiry coats. One lived nextdoor to me at my previous house. He used to bark like mad at hot air balloons and if we had visitors in the garden. He never barked at us, but he could tell if we had strangers (to him!) in the garden.
I agree about all the mess everywhere....if only people would take it home with them instead of throwing it about. We pulled up behind a car (Mercedes) at a junction yesterday and down came the window and out went the rubbish onto the road!! We have a Jo*n Lewis in the city and it has a very nice new, smart multi storey carpark. As we parked the car a few weeks ago, 3 lads were sitting eating and drinking soft drinks in their car next to us. When we came back they had gone, but left all their food trays and polystyrene beakers and crisp packets in their parking space!! :-|
Oh Mandy......was Jake hoping for some footie with a brother? Maybe she will be a tomboy like I was! :-D When is the baby due?

Morning all.
I do hope you are feeling better today Frank, you seem to have been quite poorly - hope you are on the mend.
Sorry to hear about Alfie Maureen but some times you have to accept the fact that there is nothing that can be done and just make his life as easy as possible - as I am sure you will.
Annx - Bowls was cancelled again yeterday so still have not tried it, hope to start next Wednesday.
Talking about underwear I must say I have never fancied wearing thongs they just did not seem to be comfortable - I like a bit of comfort!!
I do hope little Mocha gets rid of his cough and starts to generally pick up.
BFN :-)

Morning All,
Another dry day here but dull with it.
Oh has been mowing the front grass again and has gone off to Hatherleigh for petrol.
Think I will strip the bed today and get some housework done.
Hope Frank feels better today. Shame he is out of order when Lewis is with him as I know they do a lot of thin gs together usually. It sounds as though Lewis is keeping Frank up on his card tricks.
My grandfather (mum's dad) used to show me card tricks, he loved the old music hall songs too and would often sing some for us. He talked of the war and the little dog they had called Blighty.

Morning Mel
SNAP!!! stripped our bed this morning, will put the sheets in after I have done ANOTHER!!! load of towels, everytime Sofia comes she likes to play POURING in the bathroom sink, and splash with her toy ducks , but she can get a little excited and were often get soaked so I put down some old towels on the floor and we both have our pinnies on (my nana used to say pinny instead of apron) Sofia's is more of a painting apron covers her right down to her slippers, lol
Morning All
Dull & cloudy here , just had a spot of rain too.
1 man here today to do the rough cast on the porch. wonder if this is the last time they will be here, I expect it will be the boss next looking for his money lol

Liz I seem to remember dad making a bunny out of a hanky now you mention it. It had big floppy ears!! So we do still have memories that keep coming back to us. How Nice.
Fiona I hope this is the last of the work on your new porch. I am sure will be glad to get straight soon now.
