Well ,I think I can hear rain.I might go and tuck myself into bed and listen to it.The book I am reading at the moment is very good.not my normal kind at all.It is called the Book Thief.I can't remember the name of the Author, but what an incredible mind he must have to write a book like this.
I hope Fiona had some news tonight as to what is causing all her trouble.

Night Night everyone xx

Fiona Report 5 Sep 2011 22:07

Hi Everyone
WELL!!!!
Good news BUT still confused about what is going on.
All Blood tests came back clear,
I have an under active thiroid(sp) so no worries there
Bowel clear
Blader clear
Stomache lineing no problems, means there's no ulcer. or any terminal (sp )Problems.)
No other kidney problems that we didn't know about.
Liver fine,
So thats good but still confused why I am getting these symptoms,
The doctor wants me to come back and have another procedure done , being sadated again an acid moniter will be inserted into the stomach and I will wear a belt for 48 hours which when I feel bad I will press certain buttons and these will moniter the acid content,
then I take the belt back to the hospital and then come back to see what has been found.

The last resort after that is to do with the gallstones I have , I may need to have my Gallbladder removed. but that procedure is further down the line.

Still have the appointment at my local hospital about my white blood count, Dr at private hospital wants the results sent to him too

So I feel relieved that there is no major problems but still frustrated that I don't know the answer and have still got to go through more messing about at hospital. But I am sure when it is sorted out I will be fine.

time for bed
night night.

Morning All,

Well is is blustery and raining here today so I expect Ann has the same weather. Thats the trouble when you have sea on either side of a narrow strip of land! I don't know what to wear now as I was going to just wear cotton trousers and a t shirt and blouse but I shall have to have a coat too.

Fiona so glad they did'nt find anything wrong but a shame they can't put a finger on it at the moment. I wish you well soon and hope they can get to the bottom of the trouble. It is probably the gall stones all along.....................................

Must have a bowl of cornflakes and take my pills for the day. May not get back on here today so will say ta ta and hope your weather is better than ours!! :-0

Enjoy your day Mel.Hang on to your hats!!!
Fiona as you say at least you know know there is nothing major wrong, but frustrating that you still don't know what the cause is.

Oh What a Night !(who sang that song)? Wind and rain all night.James has just taken the canopy off the gazebo.I'm surprised it was still standing this morning. It was a brisk walk this morning especially when the wind was behind me ;-)
Frank I walked around by your first house No34.There were notices on so many of the lamposts along there saying they are turned off(to save money)
I know the people in Corby kicked up a right stink about theirs being switched off,I think they were turned back on again.
Did we hear from Kim yesterday?I hope she is ok.

Coffee time I think now.

Frank Report 6 Sep 2011 11:52

Morning as last.

I had a visitor at 10.00am He's just left. Smashing guyy from B E N. Motor trade benevolent fund. When I had my stroke they called and tried to help me with anything I needed (I had been a member for over 30 years) being in the motor trade. Financially they try to get things for you that you can't afford or can't get from local council. He calls at least once a year to see that we are allright, and stays for a couple of hours. We chat about everything thats going on in the world. and put the world to right. He is saying they might be able to assist Ros with an electric wheelchair, to help her get around. I don't like to take advantage, as there are a lot worse of than us.

So glad you are "WELL" Fiona. It takes a lot of worry of your mind to know it's nothing too serious.

Jane, I thought they had been round the village here turning off lights. But I spoke to a local councillor, and he said they haden't turned off any lights. He is going to have them checked.

Not the best of days to be out and about Mel, keep warm and dry.

Daughter & Sofia just left.
Sofia had a great time at playgroup, went in quite happy and when mum left to go and sit in another room Sofia didn't even notice just carrying on happily playing, because Sofia is not potty trained daughter can not leave the building and has to sit with other mums for 2 hours while Sofia plays, playgroup staff won't change nappies. so if Sofia has an accident, mum has to be there to see to her.

Still windy and lashing it down, horrible weather.

David you must be having an awful time with your right ear , can you hear anything at all. I hate that when I feel all blocked up.

Looks like we all have dreadful weather today. It is dry here though, just on and off sometimes.
We had billions and zillions of starlings this morning,They were going mad with their chatter and had a real feeding frenzy on the Elderberries!.You should see the mess that the fallen berries have made on the tarmac by our bins :-S :-S :-S :-SI got a couple of pics but only a very few were in each photo as the were all over the place.

David I would be very surprised if the Nurse has a go on Friday if your ear is still inflammed!

Frank that is really nice of that chap to call on you like that.If he could get help with an electric chair for Ros that would be great,as I doubt you are able to push the normal one.It would make life much easier I imagine.
Hi,everyone else .Can't stop just now

Frank Report 6 Sep 2011 16:51

Afternoon All,

David CAN YOU HEAR ME !! I bet after the lot, you won't go poking down your ear with these cotton buds.

The lawn under the pine tree is covered with neddles. also all over the road. This B wind has blown pots with plants in, over the patio. Hope they are not damaged.

Anyone want some tomato's.??? Have given loads away. and still more on the vines. Pasta sauce me thinks !!!

Where's our Kim and Liz today. Liz suppose is busy packing and throwing things out.

Nice bit of Belly pork in the oven for tonight. Carrots, cabbage, runners and Fur apple potatoes.and of course apple sauce. Hope Ros feels like eating a bit more tonight.

She's been to have a check up on her asthma this morning. All OK. but the nurse was concerned about the amount of weight she has lost. She thinks it could be down to the shock to the system from the last injection.(she did say a word but Ros can't remember) She wants Ros to see the doctor, to arrange a SECOND opinion on the condition of her back.. The nurse is very good, and feels to loose two stone in two months is a bit excessive.

Might go for a (gargle) couple of pints tonight, and watch England V Wales. dowen the pub. If not will watch it in the conservatory.

HELLO THERE I hope everyone is in good health because I am having trouble finding the last pages. so will peruse later.

Well thank you for your concern over taking that persons medication and will not do it again was deperate at the time but know you are all right.

Paris was very nice we had a nice journey except for getting stuck in a very bad traffic jam on the way home. I was dying for a cup of tea and we got stuck a mile from a motorway restaurant for one hour Annie and I were playing a game asking each other questions who won payed for the tea and whatever and all the coach people joined in. It was very funny myself and another dumb lady ended up sharing the cost but not everybody wanted me to pay saying it would be too expensive. thank goodness.
I had to laugh on my return to the house was greeted by Donnie he asked me what I had done in Paris and I said Oh I went to the art galleries
to see the Turners and the Raphaels to impress him and he said who the hell are they somebody you met in London Sheil .I laughed so much then
Beryl walked out of my downstairs loo. She kissed me and said whats dick head said now to set you off. I told her and she hit him on the head
with a rolled up newspaper twice and said you thick dollop of ,,,,,,,,,,,something I had better not repeat and he said right you have done it now girl and went off never to return. I sent Leslie down to look for him. But the crunch is he still seems to be missing. Beryls in limbo and I had to take her home .I told her it served her right. I understand they arrived at 9am and I got home from Annies at ten thirty you would have thought they could have given me a bit of breathing space. I did buy them a lovely painting of the bubbles boy and a candlestick in cut
glass but it was still standing on the table. Maybe when they calm down or kill each other then it does not matter .But theres gratitude for you.
Your right Jane they do sponge a little it seems they came to ask me to take them to Oxford to see Beryls brother Ronnie.

Well we went to the Moulin Rouge the can can and all that stuff and there was very good illustionist and a man really entertaining with doves one flew on my head and I was very worried in case he did something knowing my luck but it was a well trained dove and he just cood in my ear and tried to bite my posh air rings I even wore a evening dress girls Lavender grey with little straps and my mums pearls she had given to her by her Aunt Aggie when she was 21. I had my hair highlighted and styled by a real posh geezer who told me I had a very striking jaw line and he must do the style he had in mind. I looked like a poodle when I came out
so Annie got out her hair straighteners and undid the poodle bit.

We did a lot of walking and went up the Eifel tower and nearly got blown away my hair was a mess by then and my nose bright red. Annie was well and truly sneezing by the time we got out for the evening but nothing developed. Two American gentleman asked us for a drink back in the hotel and Annie said I fancy a cocktail dare I ask them she did dare and we got two very nice cocktails non alcolholic for me unfortunately.
They chatted on about our royal family and were not very polite about them.
I said well we have there majesties and you have Mr Bush it seemed to stop the insults. They were all Diana and were convinced our Royal family bumped her off. It was getting a bit deep so we changed the subject and it was 1am when we left them we sat in the dark well there was a lamp burning to the left of us.

Annie and I developed a fit of the naughties she was well entoxicated after drinking four more cocktails. She sang sur lur pon avion all down the main corridor and I had to put her to bed fully clothed that was after tapping a few door on the way . She slept for an hour then got up and was crawling along on her knees looking for her handbag for asprin. Saying never again. I hate Hitler .I asked her why and she did not even remember saying that. Our Annie surprised me a little but then she does travel around a lot and meets people so I expected a few skeletons in the cupboard.

April Jessie and Ryan maybe going to America Ryans thinking about
it and I shall loose my dear grandchildren. Not for good but would not see them so much. Never mind you cannot hold on to your kids forever and Ive had my life.
Little Mat was so good with us and I hated him going I got the maternal feeling again. i said to my ho can we have another baby and he choked in his tea and said. So////////////off you silly moo. I was only joking of course
at my age but it did rather shock him poor love. He was white,

While I was away for my three days Sophia got her self arrested she only
let herself in the charity shop we worked at and borrowed a skirt and a top for a concert. She was creeping on her way out and the alarm went off and she got half way down the road and the police came sweeping up and nabbed her and she owned up to what she did so they arrested her but she drove them so mad they let her go with a caution. You should have seen what she borrowed a massive bright yellow cotton skirt and a low cut lace top and a huge shawl Also some red patent high heel shoes which were nice liked those myself. The alarms on a delay action device
in the shop so it went off on her way out poor love. Life is never dull and now I feel a bit lost on my own for the next two days ho is away playing golf. Ash and Michelle are here in the evening but the days will seem long.
but have a whole set of fairy cards to make for my local shop and some christmas stuff .Have a lovely evening

No thank Franks.I still have plenty of tomatoes !!! Getting a bit fed up with them now lol.

I expect Liz is busy, but it's a bit worrying not hearing from Kim.That's 2 days now.I hope she 's not back in hospital.
