Hi All
Just got back from Hospital. not good news, the next 48 hours is critical for dad. he has been vomiting and the sick has gone into his lungs , he is on antibiotics, but they have been given to him just to keep him comfortable, because of his Mental state they will not be investigating why he was sick, just keeping him warm and comfortable, so it's just a matter of waiting now,

May not get back on tomorrow so I will WISH YOU ALL A MERRY CHRISTMAS , Hope you all have a lovely day.

It was so funny just now , Toby came to me ,and either he wanted a wee or a drink of water , i told him oh you'll have to wait a minute, so with that he went and lumped down on his bed with his back to me ,sulking.

So i said oh, don't you love me any more ,he still didn't move ,so i then said oh well you won't have your present in the morning , and with that he shot his head around to look at me !!!! who says they don't understand lol

Fiona, how worrying for you. I hope your dad is comfortable now and I will be thinking of you and your dad over the holiday.

David, I was only thinking the other day that the boiler was doing overtime just now and what would we do if it broke down. Hopefully you have a gas fire/ electric heater. We know now what you want from Santa........central heating!! Hope you can get it fixed quickly.

That accident sounds awful Mandy. The poor familes too. The sock now has a heel! Just the bit to the toe to do. It is coming out bigger than I thought it would be.

Mel, we have to be 1 step ahead of these OH's don't we!! lol I stopped mine raiding the sausage rolls......told him I'd counted them and soon there would only be mine left. lol How lovely to wake up xmas day in your new bedroom. I hope you got the bed sorted.

Well, I discovered tonight that there is no xmas pud for OH! His face was a picture when I told him, but it was his own fault. I'm not overfond of xmas pud so I always get me a tiny low fat one. When I got mine I told him to choose which he wanted for himself from the selection, but he wasn't listening properly (sound familiar?) and didn't!! I'd moved on to something else and left him with the trolley. It is a good job we never have room for any on xmas day. He won't forget to get one next week! lol

In case I don't get on here tomorrow............

Fiona my thoughts are with you. I have only just caught up with the post of yesterday and today. I know just what you are going through at the moment. It was good that dad went peacefully in his sleep. I do hope you can still enjoy your Christmas though but know you will feel flat too. I am.

David our oven went one Christmas and the turkey had only been in for half an hour. I ended up cooking it in the micro and had never cooked anything in one before! But I managed it although dinner was a bit late that year. Hope you have some kind of heating to get you through.

TONY good to hear from you at this time of year and what a good boy to give up smoking!!!! Don't be like me and start again after a year. I even started again after 10 years!!!!!!!!!!

9.33am.

I hope that you all manage to get through today.I think Sofia will help you do that.

Oh Fiona, how very sorry I was to read the news about your Dad, my heart goes out to you at this very upsetting time particularly as it's Christmas, as you say at least he is free from all the pain and stress he has been suffering, but even so it is very sad. Yesterday wasn't a very good day here! Dysonman still didn't arrive as he is still off sick!! we are now booked for next Friday!!! OH got pretty shirty with the 'voice on the phone', however, it's not her fault when all said and done! Also had an Xmas 'Round Robin' plus photos! from my cousin (a clergyman) and his wife, plus two teenagers, who really annoyed me to the point of upset by letting us know how clever and wonderful they ALL are, both scholastically, musically, talented in every possible way! how God does nothing but shower blessings on them, and shows signs of these blessings ALL the time throughout the year!! I think they are religious fanatics!!! why do I let it upset me? I hear you say! I think, because there are a lot of people in this world who God doesn't seem top be quite so free on the blesing front, who Cousin and wife seem quite oblivious of!!!! I suspect that God spends SO much time in that household, he doesn't have too much time for the rest of us!!! As Laura said, instead of just hearing how wonderful THEY are, an inquiry as to how WE are would have been nice!!! but there you go, it's only once a year!! VERY cold here today! have already de-frosted thebirdbath but needs doing again! must take Millie! HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL.
