Thanks for the pic of little William, Jane. Those eyes!!!!! He certainly is a little cracker as my dad would say.
I am looking for ward to the program about R 111 on Monday evening too. I watched the one with Tony Robinson again yesterday on More 4.

Morning all/Evening Kim.
Correct Mel, Horrible day here, overcast, windy, and damned right misserable. Won't be going out today.
Had a pair of kippers for breakfast this morning. Wrapped in tin foil with butter and seasoning, and done in the oven. NO SMELL. and they were just great !!! Ros wasn't impressed, she hates fish, and will only eat a flattie at a push. But loves. sea food. I can't understand that.
Jane when you get a minute can you let me have your paella receipe. Hope it's got sea food in it ;-) ;-) ;-) Oysters are suppose to be good aren't they ????<3 <3 <3
Have done all the veg for dinner tonight. (Roast Beef for a change) Just have the Yorkshire and cheese sauce to make.
I see in the Paper that an RAF station in Norfolk is on Ebay for sale bidding started at £3,000,000. Who the Bloo## hell would want that. ??? other than a developer

Twelve noon. Hi folks. Hope you are all well today and having a nice Sunday.
Nice visit as my son and his family were up from London and staying over in Nuneaton. It was Christmas all over again as they were away in Spain then, the two grandchildren were having a whale of a time, wrapping paper and toys everywhere.
Last nights TV on BBC1 was bread and bread - or should that be quiz and quiz. Pointless Celebrities = quiz show: Next - Britains Brightest = quiz show: Then - In It To Win It = quiz show. I like quiz shows if they are good, but three one after the other! Get real BBC. . .
We are having a nice lasy Sunday, Carmel is aching all over anyway. At least there is Call the Midwife to look forward tonight.
Little William sure is a cutie - I must email out the photo of Grace taken at Christmas. Another little cutie.
C Y A L .

Blandings is on today too William. Have you been watching that?
I like it as it is just a bit silly and there are no swear words in it.
Used to like the Bertie Wooster tv programs with Hugh Lorrie and Stephen Fry.
Then there is also Time Team today so loads to watch today.
I watched a film last night but could'nt tell you what side it was on but it was quite good for a US film.

Mel, Max & Mocha - I think you like names beginning with M in your house LOL. The two dogs are real posers aren't they. Talking of photos, I have now emailed the photo of baby Grace taken at Christmas. I hope everyone get's it OK.
We haven't been watching Blandings, on at an awkward time for us. Maybe I'll record it and give it a go. The other night when nothing was on, I scrolled through the 'other channels' and we found (now this is historic!) Bullseye, with Jim Bowen. Well, it was a real laugh because when they showed the prizes, it was like looking at the antiques Roadshow. There was this hugh music centre, a coffee maker the size of a bucket, gaden equipment you wouldn't have room in your shed for these days. Then the star prize - A Peugeot 205!!! It would be a classic car if you won it today! We had a laugh if nothing else.
Sometimes just for fun we watch the 'bid' channels. What a load of rubbish they get on those. Sometimes the price of the P&P works out more than the final price. I wonder who buys all this stuff?
Kippers eh Frank, now theres living it up. They don't agree with me, nor do mackerel or come to that, any smoked fish. But kippers always reminds us of years ago when we stayed in a hotel at Keswick in the Lakes. Every morning this family would come down for brekky, a bit on the posh side, and every morning the 'pater' would ask if there were 'Loch Fyne' kippers on the menu. One day there were kippers on the menu (probably from Blackpool!) and the 'pater' said he didn't want them, he wanted scrambled egg!!!. Carmel and I still laugh about that. Some of the best fish we tasted was when we spent a holiday in Switzerland with our Swiss friends. They took us out on our anniversary to a hotel in the mountains (may have told this before?). We ordered the fish and when we asked what they were, we were told they were caught in the nearby lake. Mmmmm, I can still taste them now. Beautiful.

Afternoon All,
What a lovely pic of the two of them Pat! At least with this one the house training will have been done. He looks a big dog for his age doesn't he and I bet Mocha is delighted to have a playmate. :-)
Dull and dismal here too today. My side was still giving me gyp in bed last night so I have got my beads out again to sort what I need for the next class and am doing 'to do' lists of what I need to work away at. I want to call in the local records office this week to see if I can follow OH's tree back any further. I think most of the Warwickshire records are held at Stratford, but this branch goes back to Leics so the records office is not too far.
Memories William........the Peugeot 205!! :-D I had a red diesel one in 1984. It was superb and economical and we towed a 12 foot caravan to the south of France with it a couple of times and all over England. I kept it 10 years which is the longest I have kept any car. Baby Grace looks lovely in her Christmas outfit.

Evening All
Just got home after a lovely visit to Hannah and John. They have a lovely flat, and once everything is in put together and in place it will be smashing. We had a bit of a wander around and a nice lunch in a Bistro. We came home with a load of flattened cardboard boxes for recycling. It will be much easier for us to get rid of it all.
William ,Grace looks so sweet in her little Christmas outfit and a little blue eyed blonde by the look of it :-D :-D
Pat I love the pic of Mocha and Max .Hopefully they will become good friends and great company for eachother..I think the neutering is a good idea, unless you are planning on breeding. Why did he need rehoming?
I must go and get a cup of tea as I'm parched.BBL
Frank I will let you know about the Paella tomorrow. :-D
