thought his aspergers had gone but its back with a vengence, so much so he has been round my house and garden breaking my stuff like he used to , how ever i got the shropshire star and rang every company up spoke to one who said he was looking for ground workers yippee so interview at 7 possible start monday do i have a word with the boss and tell them about david david says no, but when i spoke to his last employer they said what a great worker he was and they would have him back

I know, love.... but this may just be a *blip* that he can get over..... no-one thought he would ever do so well, and he proved them all wrong with your help and determination.... is there anyone you can see who will provide YOU with the support you need to help David out the other side of this?

Would he go to the GP?... depression is common with autism/aspergers, as you know.

i think he is depressed daff i noticed yesterday, when i noticed last year i took him to doctor who grunted all the way through and said he would refer him to the mental health team so will do that again, i think they promoted him too soon and it was too much , he has been out since last night, i await the call to say they have found him dead , i was looking in his bedroom for things that could harm himself with last night well must walk me babies now thanks daff and all xxx it really helps to ge it off ya chest

Oh Puss... chase the Mental Health referral team up... the older David gets, the less input you will be able to have, he needs to have it sorted now while you can push things, so that you all have the support necessary as he gets older.

I am sure the promotion was one of the things..... he would have felt the weight of the extra responsibility quite keenly, I think, as he is very conscientious.

Will he have gone to his friend's again?

Just one observation... it was about this time last year that he was quite bad, too, I wonder if there is something that is seasonal affecting him? I don't know if that can happen... I have to go out now, but will have a look when I get back... I know that a few years ago there was a lot of research going on about some people with Autistic spectrum disorder being affected by certain foods and chemicals in their diet... I THINK that is how the connection with autism and some forms of ADHD was made, but could be wrong.

Chin up...... let me know if there is anything I can do?

thankyou daff and everyone i really take on board what you all say, thanks again daff please just when you have time, ive found out he is at a friends community police are aware of david and keep an eye on him, there brilliant they watch out fhad aor natalie too its 2 small ish villages, just reminded me communitypolice first became aware of david when he stole a pork pie, when asked why he did it he said he was hungry , thankfully they realised he had problems, feeling bit more confident he has phoned specky to say he will be home for a bath xx

Thinking of you and wish David good luck with the interview, i am going through a rough patch with steven( hads the same as david and hes 17) stays out all night with so called friends but if i confront him it just makes him worse also the lies dont help either

Puss... did David leave his job of his own accord?? If he did, then it would indicate that there is something there which has brought up his anxieties... you mentioned that his boss said he would be happy to take David on again as he (David) is so conscientious?

I will go and try and find out more about the food thing now (have a problem with pc, on laptop now... but also had a plasterer in, so leccie has been going on and off all day!!)

Once he gets back and has a bath, he might feel ready to talk about it.

I'll check, but I also think you can refer David to the mental health team yourself... but not 100% on that.

I'll get back to you, and text or pm you later.....I went and looked for my mobile specially... it is charging up at the moment, lol!
