I work my b** of but the Gps think I don`t do enough -just to line their pockets. I care for my patients , but told I talk too much. Told I have to retrain in taking bloods as a couple of patients have had bruises in their arms. P***** O ** |

I would love the people in the doctors' surgery I go to taking the time to chat. They bark out questions and grunt when asked anything. Surely some people bruise no matter how you do the job? |

I have very deep veins and the left arm/inner elbow is the only vein that blood can be got from .I ALWAYS bruise when blood is taken no matter who does it. Was a blood donor for many years and always bruised. |

Good luck Ros, you don't need hassle at work, wonder what the gps will do when all the patients complain when you go. Will be too late then, they will realise they didn't appreciate a good worker, one who can chat and put people's minds at ease etc. |

Hi Ros, I wonder how long it is since the GP took blood himself? Sometimes I bruise and sometimes i don't. I wonder if the patients who bruised were on blood thinning drug such as aspirin? I believe you bruise more easily then. How did he know about the bruises? Did the patients complain? |
