Hello Alison, Could you possibly look up the following. William Thomas DAVIES, born 22.11.1869. He sailed on the following ships I belive. SS Glanystwyth, SS Glanhefren, SS Glaystwyth, SS Glenveck and apparently he took command of H.M.T Etonian in March 1918 and took it to France during WWI. many Thanks. Paul

HI Paul No mention of any of those ships and no William Thomas DAVIES but hundreds of just William. Too many to list, if you can narrow it down with a birthplace it would help. Birth year doesn't help as its not shown only an age. Regards Alison

Hi Alison, Can you check for any William Baker b.1861 USA (British subject). He is missing from 1881 but could have been in the navy at this time. His birth place in 1901 was down as St Pauls Bristol but he was definately born in USA. Sorry to have such a common name there may be hundreds! Marion
