My ggg Grandfather JOHN TRIVETT was born in SHUTE DEVON c1821. He married JANE CLARKE IN 1843 in AXMOUTH DEVON. JANE was born c1826 in LYME DORSET. I have Their marriage certificate. JOHN'S Father was JOSEPH TRIVETT, JANE'S Father was WILLIAM CLARKE. JOSEPH TRIVETT is the one I am interested in He would have been born c1800. So the mystery is, who was JOSEPH where was He born, what was the name of His Wife? This mystery has stopped Me connecting with the rest of the TRIVETT Family (all TRIVETT,S are related). I would be very grateful if anyone could help Me with this. Thankyou. Brian.

Have you tried: A LDS website? B Familyhistoryonline? C Parish Records? If you have, and failed, then it is indeed a mystery!

It could be Georgina, but it doesn't mention John, so as to be sure.

Georgina

Vera Report 27 Mar 2006 09:49

Brian , These ' brickwalls 'are so frustrating. :-) As far as you know Josephs son was definitely John....you know what these ancestors are like, could it have been Joseph John, and he just used John??? Just a thought. Regards Vera

OK, Well, rather than have other well meaning souls running around doing look ups and not saying whgere they are from, try it yourself at www.familysearch.org. then theres www.familyhistoryonline.net. google for your local records office or use genuki to find it, and contact them to see what help is available.
