trying to find any information on my grandfather henry robson parker ,born in newcastle on tyne in c1878. attended elswick works school.became a heating engineer,married mary ?in june 1902 had two sons henry robson, and norman robson.his father may have worked at elswick works as the school was built for employees children.my grandfather died in c1910 as the 1911 census has mary aged 30 a widow with her two sons.would be grateful for any info. Harry.

I think you need his marriage cert for his fathers name and occupation,if there is one on it of course.
Also it will have his age at marriage on it.

Have you found him on any census?

I am not finding a likely death for him with middle name or initial.

Nor a birth,just as Jan hasnt either.

Yes, Viv just wondering if perhaps his mother married or remarried a Mr Parker and Henry then took on the surname of his stepfather hence Henry Robson Parker

Could well be LB,wont be the first or the last if that were the case.

I must try to get one,I cannot find anything about him on the census or birth records.all I have got of his is a school report from Elswick Works School in 1891.
