Hi Sandra - That's ok as Viv found the marriage. Just a tip, if you had put the year of birth for their son, it would have given a rough time scale. Perhaps not so important in this case with two not very common surnames but had the surnames been Smith and Brown .......... well it just doesn't bear thinking about!

Good luck with your research.

Sandra

Sandra Report 19 Oct 2009 14:38

Thanks for the tip rootgatherer. I slipped up when typing it out. Don't worry though coz I slapped my own wrist and told myself to do better next time lol..
Thank you for your help though coz your name often pops up during my searches.

Hi Sandra to answer this question..

No wonder I can't find stuff , it must be because you all have Degree's in History research, computer technowledgy, crime invetigation and more... Am I right?
Sandra:¬))

I am rubbish at computer technology ,but with the lack of info you gave us to go on I asked for the power of mind reading, to get the knowledge of the family stored in your memeory that you hadnt given us ,and look...,,it worked ;:)

So I am well on my way to being Wonder woman!
Along with many others on here, although some might be Wonder Men of course.
happy hunting
viv

Edit,,,but as rootgatherer said if it had been Smith and Brown we would have needed a Miracle to get anywhere;)

Sandra

Sandra Report 19 Oct 2009 16:31

Hi thanks for that Viv, or should I say wonder woman. I new that was not how you spell technology but the more I wrote it down and scrubbed it out again, the more it looked completely wrong. So I sent it anyway even though I made a pigs ear of it.
I am good at some things you know, but none of them are to do with computer technology or crime investigation. But every name I am researching feels like its Smith and Brown because of my lack of knowledge on the subject. Thats why I,m going to join a Family History group when I can find a good one in my area.
Many thanks takecare.
