BSL 2 - passed one of my resits! Failed the other

After the fiasco of the exams and having to resit 2 out of 3, I am glad to say I have passed one of them, just waiting for the other result now and then that'll be me at level 2

Claire................ I was bought up by deaf parents so hence my need to get qualified in a no recognised language!!

Well done you, I heard it was a lot harder. I stopped at level 1, but I did enjoy learning a lot.

I even used to teach my friends at uni some so we could communicate in loud clubs lol.

i think sign language should be taught in school form an early age

my daughters r starting to learn french at 5 and 6
they probly wil never ever go to france but they are probably going to meet many deaf people in there lives

i did makaton to level 6
and bsl level 1
because we had a family friend who was deaf and i felt it was my fault i couldnt communicate with him

it should be taught in schools as manditory even if its just the basics
