LOL was lovely here today.

Blue skies very little rain just light showers.

Shame the last 2/3 days had torential rain and some towns are now feeling the brunt of that as river levels are still rising and some flooding is occuring!

Hate to say this (not really) but its been lovely here today 18 degrees, and quite mild tonight - sorry Keith. I can see snow tipped peaks in the far distance though............

Lesley, I can beat you during the day lol, on the east coast here where I am, we have a more or less constant 25 degrees during the winter months.

Liz, can you not get a warm front grant to get the boiler replaced and radiators fitted? I dunno what benefits you're on (if any) but it might be worth enquiring about with the FM.

SS, yes that is what I will be sorting out this year at my own house, but as a hoarder, ocd, I have to clear all my stuff first so they can go in and do the assessment. There is heating there but it never worked properly thanks to a plumber who wasn't as good as he was supposed to be. I tried taking him to court but two weeks before the open and shut case, he wangled legal aid so mine was stopped and everything ground to a halt. He died later at a relatively young age, 60's. What goes around comes around! He ruined my life by messing up the installation, long story.
Some benefits to being a pensioner tho with the grants available. lol
