The shopping thread made me think of this.

Has anyone gone outside in pjs and been seen by the public?
Why did you go out?

I went out in my pjs because I'd forgotten to put bin out night before and was actually chasing the bin men with a big wheelie bin in tow. I was so intent on getting the bin emptied I wasn't even bothered they saw me in my pjs. It was only afterwards when I got back in the house that I went bright red with embarrassement. I decided I would never look at those bin men again.

And on the subject of see through pjs anyone had a recurrent dream of leaving the house and forgetting to put clothes on? I have many times. Its awful.

iv been the local shop loads of times in mine its the in sunday gear round here lol

never been the school in them tho some parents do im shocked lol

I go out the back door to bin in mine but thats it.

i also go to mams in them all the time to

i must add i have a coat on over the top lol

I've gone out for the day in a black shoe and navy shoe.
Same style though lol

Hell yeah!! I have walked to the garage in my pj's at 2am in the morning before now.!!

left me slippers on ,but never gone out in my PJ's lol

The only place I've ever gone to in my jammies was the hospital in the middle of the night. I was 15 and had acute appendicitis. Too sick to be embarrassed at the time but I was afterwards.

Hell, I get embarrassed answering the door to the postie in my jammies so I certainly don't go out in them. Although I highly recommend it as a way of getting rid of unwanted callers (jehovah witnesses, mormons, window salesmen), works pretty well :)

I have a pair of PJ bottoms that if you shove a pair of ugg boots on with look like tracky bottoms.....

So yeah I've cheated a few times lol x

When i was in hospital for complications with Boo i did sneak outside and go to the garage down the road for choccie.

But the worst i have done is walk out of the house and down my street completely naked, it wasnt on purpose though i sleep walk and at times have woke up when someone is bringing me home. We now have more locks on the door that i dont seem to be able to get through when asleep lol

I am quite often seen out in the street in my pj's, neighbours are used to me now. I get changed fairly early for comfort, then realise I need to see one of the neighbours so just pop along. I wear my slippers everywhere, even the supermarket if hubby is driving.

Janet, you have just taken me back to when I was 17.....I was a secretary to this chap with a young family, and I suppose he was really tired half the time.......one morning he came into the office, and from beneath his trousers was peeping his pyjama bottoms......never forget that.....
