Have outside lights done, tree out of loft ready, all xmas cards written, most present wraped, now ground to a holt.

Not yet cos I have to wait for Mr. (Bah Humbug) M to fetch in down from storage. So it should be up by errr Christmas Eve if I am lucky....lol

I've not had a tree up over here since we came nearly 3 yrs ago as we always come back to UK for Christmas so it seems pointless, however I noticed tonight that quite a few of the villa's in surrounding villages are defying our erratic electricity supply and are competing with the fantastic starlit sky we have. For those who like star gazing Mars was quite clear last night, havn't been out to look tonight as its very, very windy.

When we brought ours down last week, it didn't seem that long since it went up.

OOooooh Cheese Straws Joan.....that does take me right back when we made those......nowadays its bacon and mushroom vol-au-vents.....tried them one year and the kids went crazy for them.....I daren't not make them......in their 30's now, with kids of their own, and they still want the stockings hanging up when they come round, and all the stuff we make every year......green/red/orange jellies etc. etc......do they ever grow up......

I think I might make a few cheese straws now.....thanks....

Only the little fibre optic tree in the hall so far.....OH put it up......I thought it was white.....but its green.....I would have sworn we bought a white and silver one......must be losing it....

I still give my 'kids' stocking's and their wifes. One of my dil said a few years ago..she has never had a stocking.
Dont know why though.
