I've got a floral arrangement too Ann.....it has grown over the years and it is over 2ft wide and 3ft high now......this year I added a wine coloured silk flower, don't know what it is, but it looks good...

I say floral arrangement, but I use the term loosely.....I just stick all the bits in a big vase and pull them around a bit....

In about 10 years we won't need a tree, the flowers will have taken over....

Put mine up last Thursday before we went away for the weekend. Just got the floral arrangement to do now, always have one in the lounge, add bits to it each year (artificial).

Only the little fibre optic tree in the hall so far.....OH put it up......I thought it was white.....but its green.....I would have sworn we bought a white and silver one......must be losing it....

OOooooh Cheese Straws Joan.....that does take me right back when we made those......nowadays its bacon and mushroom vol-au-vents.....tried them one year and the kids went crazy for them.....I daren't not make them......in their 30's now, with kids of their own, and they still want the stockings hanging up when they come round, and all the stuff we make every year......green/red/orange jellies etc. etc......do they ever grow up......

I think I might make a few cheese straws now.....thanks....
