4 year old has now written her name on my pine chair. BUT insists it's not her that did it. Despite writing her name in about 20 different places over the house since she learnt to write her name

When my son was little he ate the raspberries in the garden and couldn't understand for the life of him how I knew it was him..

It had something to do with the pips and juice on his chin, down his t-shirt and on his hands...took him years to work that out! LOL

Catherine she is such a little fibber !!

She told her nursery teachers she was off to Euro Disney the next day.......... she wasn't.

She also got caught with a pencil in her hand and scribbles over the hall wall.

I said *but you are holding the pencil in your hand !! I KNOW it's you*

can i just say in your daughters defence

my big brother used to carve me name on the windowsills on the wood down the stairs

and anywere else he new mam wld see it to get me in trouble

And in 30 years time, you will be proudly displaying her artwork to her children, and chuckling at the memory, and wondering how you can preserve it forever!!

My son dug a hole in my new marble table 30 years ago... and every time I look at that spot, I can see his little face, and hear his little voice saying *but it's a digger, mummy, that's what did it*
