I was told to fold sheets and place them lengthways on the ironing board - that way they get ironed while you do everything else. |

stick all your ironing in a black bin bag then throw it out with the rubish, you have no choice but to get new clothes and just hang them straight up so they dont crease |

I don't iron the sheets or duvet covers often.................if they come straight out of the machine and are dried flat over the line or airer, they are barely creased at all. |

I put dried lavender heads from my garden in my hoover to scent the house while im hoovering - it dosent save the housework but at least my lavender gets used and smells nice. Dont know how good it is for Henry though... |

Kitty - if you have a burnt saucepan - put a little washing Powder/liquid in it & bring to the boil, leave to stand & stuck food floats off. |

My advice is spray the polish in the air and stand the vacuuam in the hall as if ready to do some actual hoovering-then when anyone comes in they will say ooh smells lovely in here have you just polished, then say yes and I've just finished hoovering aswell! |

LVS you have obviously seen me in action aswell-if you spray the TV then put it on the heat from the screen makes the polish smell lovely, then a quick striaghten of the rug,and cushiosn works wonders,I also spend the day doing everything but housework then quickly rush around just before OH comes in and hey presto-what a good little wife.heeheehee |

Oh I wish I could get away with that. But working full time and having 2 cats, plus the I cant be bothered too much attitude when I get home from work - its a bit more than a flick of a rug I have to do at the weekends. |

You don't need to dust. It will only reach a certain height before falling off of the surface. If someone moves an ornament just blow the surface it was resting on and the dust will infill the area left dustless. |
