I am really impressed..................hope you all help me when my slow cooker arrives.

I have promised my husband some lovely meals as Mary in Spain says you can't go wrong with a slow cooker! LOL

I keep searching for the kitty-proof option.............not found it yet!

But I am optimistic that the solution is just round the corner.

Kitty you can literally throw anything into a slow cooker - wouldnt be able to live without mine. Stewing steak is so tender when done in slow cooker - I add bottle beer to s·steak, oxo cube and onion - once cooked I make pastry and make a pie - or s·steak, oinion, mushroom, garlic and a glass of red vino.

As you can see I look at recipes then do my own thing - but must admit best piece of equipment I have ever bought and so glad I bought it with me from UK to Spain.

I will let you into a secret i dont cook in my house if i can help it oh does it when hes well but i spent most of my time b4 i became a fulltime carer in the catering trade

I would chop the onions peppers and mushrooms, put in a shallow oven dish with the chicken pieces and drizzle over the lot some olive oil and roast them....when nearly ready add the sweetcorn mixed with a little butter and black pepper.....warm the tomato and mascarpone and mix with roasted veg and chicken......
