I would chop the onions peppers and mushrooms, put in a shallow oven dish with the chicken pieces and drizzle over the lot some olive oil and roast them....when nearly ready add the sweetcorn mixed with a little butter and black pepper.....warm the tomato and mascarpone and mix with roasted veg and chicken......

As you can see I look at recipes then do my own thing - but must admit best piece of equipment I have ever bought and so glad I bought it with me from UK to Spain.

Kitty you can literally throw anything into a slow cooker - wouldnt be able to live without mine. Stewing steak is so tender when done in slow cooker - I add bottle beer to s·steak, oxo cube and onion - once cooked I make pastry and make a pie - or s·steak, oinion, mushroom, garlic and a glass of red vino.
Enjoy your slow cooker.

Hi Easter Bunny,

You could try grilling the chicken covering with the Tom & Mascarpone Sauce and serve with savoury rice by adding the onion pepper and sweetcorn.
