And I am most relieved that you choose to make no mention of my jousting skills.

For I seem to be somewhat out of practice in avoiding the Friday night obstacles between me and my train ........... after an innocent few hours with the staff !

It is a beautiful place and when we visited in 1983, I bought a photograph abum in an antique shop which was dated 1881. It had all the fancy shaped appertures and to this date I have still not got around to putting pictures in it!

I had forgotten about the 'given understanding' that no two men from the same family should go on a rescue mission.

It's a place I love....

The original Old Cornish name of the village was Porthenys, meaning Island Cove, because it is protected by the proximity of St Clements Island which stands 400 yards off shore; but the name was changed to Mousehoe in the 13th century.

Used to spend a lot of holidays there, it was really picturesque then. It's near Penzance.
