Used to spend a lot of holidays there, it was really picturesque then. It's near Penzance.

Well, I don't know, but I should think it's because it's Natural harbour is like a mousehole.

It's a place I love....

The original Old Cornish name of the village was Porthenys, meaning Island Cove, because it is protected by the proximity of St Clements Island which stands 400 yards off shore; but the name was changed to Mousehoe in the 13th century.
