I like the reply box at the bottom of the thread too. I can refer back to what was said and the person who said it, unlike before when I always forgot lol

A bit more colour would be nice but GR are getting there!!

Depends which way you look at it.

If there are threads you want to refer back to you can now bookmark them for future reference.

Advanced search now allows you to be more specific.

It'll get better, this isn't the finished article I'm sure.

If you go to top tips on your left, theres a wee man in a big hat showing you lol,my threads will bring up all you have added to.

Deanna, if you look to the left of your screen, you will see a little box saying top tips.
There is a man in a top hat on it.

you can click on 'My Threads' on there and it will bring all your threads up, and all those you have ever added to as well unfortunately.

If you know what your thread title was there are two ways of finding it. Use the search box, with the title as the key words, OR, hit advanced search, where you can put a key word in, the author of the thread, and which board you are looking in.

Sadly, when you bring your own threads up, you can't get it to show only your replies like it used to, but maybe, if enough of us asked feedback, they might be able to reinstall that feature for us.

I must admit that I feel a bit *loose* on here.
It has changed so much and I'm afraid not for the better.

I miss the ability to check if I have added to a thread.
I can't see how I can look at my threads only, as we could before. Feel free to show me how, in case I've missed it.
AND, last but not least my eyes are sore.
the glare of the white background in artificial light really hurts me.

I'm not leaving, but I can see me having to spend less time on the general boards in the winter nights.

Joyous, I think the peeps on chat are just annoyed at the changes there, after all, its just another general board now, and they stayed away from that to be in chat because that is what they prefer.

Add to that the six month charges, and if I was them I would feel like they had upped the charges to take something away from them.

I don't blame them really, even though I never used chat, because its not a proper chat format when you have to constantly refresh your screen.

skwirrel...i agree rules are rules and genes should set standards by sticking to them,
as for the nastiness,i think theres only so much a person can tolerate,before they bite.ive been in that situation times,and its hard to just walk away.especially when lies are being told about you.
although i have to say i can ignore much better now.
but members aint daft....they see.and for me its who see,s that counts.as my pms have proved to me....chin up girlxxx

And when there is trouble old members leave or are too upset to post and new members aren't going to join the boards either.

If we can't find anyone to talk to at least it cuts down the arguments! lol

It just seems to be a combination of things all happening at the same time.
