just popped over to chat,and more members are leaving.
although im having difficulty finding my way round.im slowly getting there.
theres been so many members leaving,so my question is why???
what reasons?????

Well If I can get used to it..anyone can lol.

I have heard a few are not happy about the chat room. As the ones from the general board are now going there.
I was never in the chat bit but surely you can chat with who you like on any thread or use msn if its private.

After all we are all members and should be able to go where we like without being chased out or not made to feel unwelcome.

I must admit to being a bit of a rebel....in a nice way.

To solve the chat problem all they have to do is only use one thread, then they are back to how it was before the change!

I never used chat before and stay on this board and it is getting busier now.

Joy... I'm with you. Seems to be plenty of white spaces around that GR could put some smilies into.

Marion...Some of those that went over to Chat were just confused about where they should be. Hopefully all will calm down eventually. Like you I am not into Chat but I do feel sorry for them because their board HAS changed. But it isn't our fault and they need to be talking to GR.

Perhaps Joyous they could be fed up with GR changing the goal posts - particularly the pricing issue.......or.....

They could be fed up with all the nastiness and rows ..........or.......

Perhaps they have been let down by some peeps and have had to see the hurtful side of members they thought were freinds.

as for the nastiness,i think theres only so much a person can tolerate,before they bite.ive been in that situation times,and its hard to just walk away.especially when lies are being told about you.
although i have to say i can ignore much better now.
but members aint daft....they see.and for me its who see,s that counts.as my pms have proved to me....chin up girlxxx

Joyous, I think the peeps on chat are just annoyed at the changes there, after all, its just another general board now, and they stayed away from that to be in chat because that is what they prefer.

Add to that the six month charges, and if I was them I would feel like they had upped the charges to take something away from them.

I don't blame them really, even though I never used chat, because its not a proper chat format when you have to constantly refresh your screen.

I must admit that I feel a bit *loose* on here.
It has changed so much and I'm afraid not for the better.

I miss the ability to check if I have added to a thread.
I can't see how I can look at my threads only, as we could before. Feel free to show me how, in case I've missed it.
AND, last but not least my eyes are sore.
the glare of the white background in artificial light really hurts me.

I'm not leaving, but I can see me having to spend less time on the general boards in the winter nights.
