I've got a prayer book belonging to my great-great grandmother with a curious bit of graffiti on the inside back cover. The book is dated 1869, but the following year she has written her name as Ann Hurst, not Ann Woodcock even though she was not married to John Hurst till 1871. I think she was trying her future name out. |

I wear my grandmother's wedding ring always. She was married in May 1923 and after her death my Mum wore it. When Mum died, it passed to me and it will go to my elder daughter after I die. |

We have the christening robe that was made for my OH over 73 years ago. Its nearly all the same with the exception that i had to remodel it in 1980 because the bodice was rotting . I made a new bodice but put lace and filigree on it from the old bodice. |
