Okay if anyone wants to know where I've been or why I've not been on here much lately ................ Well first off I hit a 'can't be bothered' phase - then when I could be bothered there was nothing but bother going on - so off I went again. I haven't been feeling great - stress levels are sky high - I have roaring tinnitus in my ears which lasts for the first 6 hours of each day or more....... My Dad has offloaded a 44 year old secret onto me - a burden of knowledge I don't want but now have - and has also written out the sad and depressing and very upsetting tale of his childhood/life - and I have the honour of having to type it out. It doesn't make happy reading, but answers lots of things about why my life was so hard growing up with him, and is very heart rending. So anyway - that's my past month in a nutshell ............ so errr did someone want me ????? lol |

Hi Julie Well i normally suffer it mildly anyway - when i left school i worked in a noisy environment for 8 years which did the damage - but it's normally subtle and I just live with it not noticing it really. But for about 10 days now i have been waking up and my ears are roaring/booming and i literally cannot hear properly - normal sounds anyway - loud or high pitched sounds are excrutiating!! |

I have had tinnitus for 60 yrs or more. I dont think there is a cure for it :( you just have to learn to live with it. I hope Mrs Hoff is a nice person, she would need to be to cope with all the concubines in the harem. |
