You have my sympathy McAnne, I didn't have to type out any family secret as such, just my grandparents love letters from the 1920's to 1956 (when grandad died) :-o (Still go to do a dozen or so from when she was in her 70's, in the 1970's) Took me 2 years (had to get my grandads spelling mistakes right lol) and, if my memory serves me right, 73000 words!! My opinoin of who I thought granny was has changed somewhat LOL Fortunately, mum has told me she's destroyed al her letters!! maggie |

I have had tinnitus for 60 yrs or more. I dont think there is a cure for it :( you just have to learn to live with it. I hope Mrs Hoff is a nice person, she would need to be to cope with all the concubines in the harem. |

Hi Julie Well i normally suffer it mildly anyway - when i left school i worked in a noisy environment for 8 years which did the damage - but it's normally subtle and I just live with it not noticing it really. But for about 10 days now i have been waking up and my ears are roaring/booming and i literally cannot hear properly - normal sounds anyway - loud or high pitched sounds are excrutiating!! |
