Email server still down tried to phone them on 151 and had 'Sorry there is a fault' so even their own phones are down.

I am with Ntl can get online ok and the phone is ok but can not access any e-mail accounts Have just tried to open ntl on line and can not but can open other pages out of favourites Jan

i am also one of their customers who is having a problem, i thought it was me, as i've been fiddling with computer today. i wish i tuned into GR board earlier, begining to panic. thank for putting this thread up cheers lynn

Yes it is just my email now phone has returned to normal thank goodness, tell you what this is when the message boards really have a good use at least we all know it is not our pcs up the creek. No snow in North Herts yet whoever has got it give it a blow this way please.

I am with NTL (Broadband & Phone) I am online but cant get my NTL homepage up or get to my outlook express emails. Did the NTL Broadband medic and got the server status page that way and there does seem to be a Nationwide Outage. Shaz xx

Also on NTL Broadband and just the Emails are out of order here in Lincoln...hope they get it on soon as I am waiting for another page from FreeBMD for me to suscribe. Oh ! and the word I hate most is OUTAGE followed very closely by 24/7 Urrrrg 'Walter' City of Lincoln

Walter, are you by any chance aware of what used to be called 'Sobraan Barracks?' back in the 60's? In Lincoln. The Royal Signals had a training camp there, and I think there was a 'Royal Anglian' barracks also, on site.

I went to check, found that my emails are not connecting and then had difficulty getting back on here.

Still down, think I will set up a hotmail account whilst ntl sort out their troubles at least I can let folk know what is going on that way.

Well...NTL (or should that be NThell!) have made my night....not!!!! Had some important emails to send, and after several attempts the past few days i was really desperate to get them off tonight......still no luck, and to cap it all i have missed all the fun on here 2 nights running.....have finally got on with only a few minutes before i have to turn off and go to bed !!!! :-(( BT is starting to look very attractive just now, lol

Thanks Penny! I have struggled with a partial internet for days and done all sorts of checks on my computer! Should we all stop our direct debits do you think, till they get it sorted?! Dilys
