hiya i to thought there was something wrong as i only got 7 e-mails. so i have sent one to myself just to test it still waiting and it never came. there is defo sumat wronge

Brian , I'm in the teesside area too and my emails have been 'goosed ' since yesterday morning .....thought my computer was at fault. Joyce

Teesside - I'm also on NTL and I've unable to download e-mails since yesterday, anyone else been affected for this long?

my ntl is down aswell it went down about an hour ago. susie

I'm in Hemel Hempstead, there's a covering and it's still snowing quite light - I think it might thaw later. I'm on the outskirts of town so am surrounded by fields of snow. Really pretty. Saz NB-I'll bag some snowballs up Penny and send them to you ;-)

Argh!!!!!!!!!!!!! If it wasn't for this board I would have thought it was my problem but now I know I'm not alone. It's so annoying - I've got work emails that haven't arrived & don't know whether mine have been received when I sent them, I've got a deadline tomorrow and have no alternative to sort this out. NTL have been nothing but trouble from the start. I might try Tiscali next, done Wanadoo/Freeserve and they were even worse. Saz NB - I'm off to throw some snowballs.

Also keep being asked for my password but it doesn't accept it so I've given up. Very frustrating as my daughter has just texted me to ask why I haven't replied to her email from South Africa this morning!! I also know of several others waiting! Checked the service status and this was only supposed to affect Cambridge on Tuesday, not today. Shall have to revert to snail mail soon! Ooo letters with stamps - anyone remember them? lol Daisy

Down here in North Herts again now, they are very crafty you know, to claim anything you have to be off at least 24hrs non stop they put it on now and again to save themselves money!!!! I have considered changing to another supplier anyone know one that is constant.

Well...NTL (or should that be NThell!) have made my night....not!!!! Had some important emails to send, and after several attempts the past few days i was really desperate to get them off tonight......still no luck, and to cap it all i have missed all the fun on here 2 nights running.....have finally got on with only a few minutes before i have to turn off and go to bed !!!! :-(( BT is starting to look very attractive just now, lol

I got in !!!! :o) ( for how long, I don't know !)

Still down, think I will set up a hotmail account whilst ntl sort out their troubles at least I can let folk know what is going on that way.

I went to check, found that my emails are not connecting and then had difficulty getting back on here.

Walter, are you by any chance aware of what used to be called 'Sobraan Barracks?' back in the 60's? In Lincoln. The Royal Signals had a training camp there, and I think there was a 'Royal Anglian' barracks also, on site.

Also on NTL Broadband and just the Emails are out of order here in Lincoln...hope they get it on soon as I am waiting for another page from FreeBMD for me to suscribe. Oh ! and the word I hate most is OUTAGE followed very closely by 24/7 Urrrrg 'Walter' City of Lincoln

I am with NTL (Broadband & Phone) I am online but cant get my NTL homepage up or get to my outlook express emails. Did the NTL Broadband medic and got the server status page that way and there does seem to be a Nationwide Outage. Shaz xx
