Hot milk and a generous tot of Rhum.....works a treat.....mind you one source says that the favourite, and most used, treatment for for a cold is whisky....it doesn't cure the cold - but what the h*ll...............

I'll try anything, although I think I've tried so much already they're all fighting one another. Temperature sky high so can't get in bed; anyway I get really grumpy if I have to go to bed 'ill'. Not a patient patient I'm afraid :-( Jan xx

She is revelling in being looked after. I have just made her a couple of slices of toast with Brussels pate.

I could do with some of that myself - any chance?? It's nice of you to be looking after her, we all need a bit of TLC when we're poorly. J :-)
