She is revelling in being looked after. I have just made her a couple of slices of toast with Brussels pate.

Hot milk and a generous tot of Rhum.....works a treat.....mind you one source says that the favourite, and most used, treatment for for a cold is whisky....it doesn't cure the cold - but what the h*ll...............

My 'cure-all'.............hot bath, hot vimto, get into bed with hot water bottle and cat.

Jim I wish Collette well again especially if she's feeling like I am. I also have the snuffles and it's terrible. I've taken the lemsip, Olbas oil, Vicks vapour rub as an inhalent, hot toddies - none of it's had the slightest effect so far, I think we're just going to have to ride it out. If Collette finds the antidote PLEASE can you tell me too. Best wishes Jan

Sorry to hear that Collette isn't well. Have you thought of separate rooms as a preventative measure??!! Only joking, lol.
