Collette has the snuffles so I am having a hot Lemsip as a precautionary measure. Anyone got their own favourite remedies? |

Oh yes, the best is sloe brandy.... It dont taste like brandy funnily enough, but it does hit the spot. Hubby's home made soup is a great cure too. |

I am definitely grouchy and coming down with a cold. Lemsip, high dose Vitamin C, and cant wait for bedtime when I have a hot toddy too. Sniff sniff... |

Sorry to hear that Collette isn't well. Have you thought of separate rooms as a preventative measure??!! Only joking, lol. Ecinnachea (not sure of spelling) is good for staving off nasty colds, etc. best wishes, Sue PS I'm visiting Fareham (mother) on Sunday, so will keep well away from your house!!! |

Jim I wish Collette well again especially if she's feeling like I am. I also have the snuffles and it's terrible. I've taken the lemsip, Olbas oil, Vicks vapour rub as an inhalent, hot toddies - none of it's had the slightest effect so far, I think we're just going to have to ride it out. If Collette finds the antidote PLEASE can you tell me too. Best wishes Jan |
