Daughters! I have one of each... a very stubborn girl and a wonderfully loving boy, as well as a magnificent step-son who has just done the hardest task by telling everyone he thinks he bats for the other side. I love them all in different ways, and wouldn't swop one of them, but have to say the boys are all easier to deal with. Magi |

Kylie, I have 2 girls age 12 and 10, and a boy of 9months. It made me jump everytime I changed his nappy for the first few weeks as I wasn't used to the extra bit. lol I had really wanted another girl as I couldn't imagine feeling the same way about a boy, also thought better the devil you know!!! Of course I fell instantly in love with him and it made no difference at all. At the moment he is much harder work than the girls were, he is such a livewire and is is on the go non stop, still wakes every 1-2hrs at night [ahhhhhgggg!] and is into absolutley everything. My girls get on really well together and any quarrels are over and done with in minutes, almost never getting physical. However my eldest has been a bit of a Kevin since she was 8, which can be a trial. She's either really sweet and loving or horrid! My middle ones the easiest, excellent company and very loving . But I love them all with all my heart. Good luck x |

KYLIE I HAVE A GIRL ALSO CALLED KYLIE SHES NEARLY 16 AND 2 BOYS 12 AND 4 IN SOME WAYS AND IN DIFFERENT STAGES IN THEIR LIVES IT IS EASIER TO BRING ONE UP FROM THE OTHER , I FOUND THAT GIRLS TOILET TRAIN BETTER THAN THE BOYS AND GIRLS ARE MORE INDEPENDANT AND MORE MATURE THAN BOYS BUT EACH ARE THEIR OWN PERSON NOW THAT MY GIRL IS NEARLY 16 THE BOYS ARE EASIER AS THE GIRL WANTS TO GO OUT MORE AND WE HAVE TO ACCEPT THAT SHE IS GROWING UP AND AT TIMES WE ARE OVER PROTECTIVE YOU'LL BE OK DONNA |

I have one of each - adults now - and by all accounts I have been very lucky! No real problems with either of them. What's the saying though?...It goes something like... 'A boy's a son 'til he gets him a wife...A girl's a daughter for all of her life.' ?? - It's something like that and probably quite true. Although my son isn't yet married, the relationship I have with my daughter is different to that I have with my son although I love them both the same. If this is your first girl Kylie - and your first experience of girl's nappies - there MAY be something that no-one but big gob me will mention on here - but it is perfectly normal. She may 'spot' in her nappy - don't panic - it's just her 'women's bits' starting up! LOL Enjoy her! Magsxx |

I had 2 girls and 2boys. They were different alright but it was, one of each NOT girl or boy. One boy was soooo easy, and one girl too. If that seems all daft to you , its because its tooo early for me! Deanna;-0( |
