I was wondering what you did after school. Did you do a course at college or uni? What was your first job? :-) Lucia

Your turning into a real night owl Lucia! LOL I stayed on in 5th year until the Christmas then left. Got a job in BHS Sauchiehall St, and worked there for almost a year until I was old enough to start my nurse training. Regret not staying on at school, think I told you before, I went back to our local high school a few years ago and did Higher English, just to prove to myself I could....was chuffed when I got an A. Hopefully you'll stick in at school and won't wait, like me 'til your almost 40 to pass your exams LOL Christine

I complained to the school because Higher Modern Studies wasn't available as a course and heard today that they are reinstating it! I'm so chuffed! lol Lucia :-)

Well I've just picked my Highers and have my exams in May. I'm going to stay on to sixth year and I'm hoping to go to uni. I want to something with history. I want to be an archivist or a museum curator. Lucia :-)

Good for you Lucia, does that mean you will be able to drop one of the options you didn't really want to do, and do Modern studies instead? Christine
