City of London College (now Uni), the LSE to do Philosophy, Logic and Semantics. Qualified as an Accountant to keep my dad happy (and the wolf from the door). Thereafter did various courses eg oil-painting, geology, still and cine photography, horticulture, psychology etc to keep from stagnating. Len |

I did A-levels in Maths, French, and Computing. I didn't pass Maths & Computing first time round, so stayed on another year to have another go and thankfully got enough UCAS points to get to my first choice Uni (Hertfordshire). After getting my degree, I went into IT and lived and worked in Germany for 18 months - the most rollercoaster experience of my life so far. |

I did my A-levels (English lit, english lang, psychology and french) Didn't get the grades needed to go to the universities I'd be accepted to (thank god!) so started working. I did 6 months at BT for the Year in Industry course. Then went and repped for Club 18-30 for 6 months. Then worked in PR as I thought that was what I wanted to do... Luckily I am now in a situation where I'm doing my dream job, in the family business and enjoying it. I will never regret not going to uni (I wanted to do a BA in PR!!!) as I have had my 'fun' and am now in a very (potentially) successful career... but as I remind myself each day - I am lucky! becx |

Here Lucia, think you should try for Edinburgh Uni. Five minutes walk on one side of it is National Museums of Scotland, and five minutes walk on the other side and you have GRO for Scotland! What more could you want! LOL night Christine |

Good for you Lucia, does that mean you will be able to drop one of the options you didn't really want to do, and do Modern studies instead? Christine |
