Hi Gwyn, Thanks for asking. He was up yesterday for his dinner and he seems a lot better. When I phoned him this morning he seemed very chirpy. Gwynne |

Gwynne Glad to hear that about your Dad. I've not spoken to Mum on the phone since Thursday as I'd lost my voice. I hope we can chat today though. Rose Are you feeling better? You always make your area seem so inviting. I'd like to explore that countryside one day. Gwyn |

After nearly two weeks off sick with this dreadful flu I noticed when I opened my eyes properly this morning that there are rolls of dust everywhere-(Large cat trying to make a friend) eVERYCHAIR IS FULL OF BOOKS NEWSPAPERS OLD POST ETC.What is it with men.I swear I am going to take all but two cups saucers and plates out and smash 'em and just leave us with one each of everything. Honestly I feel worn out before I even begin to tidy up. I feel quite tearful -Rose Can you put a gin in that please.I need fortifying |

Rose, I know exactly how you feel, it is the same in our house. You suffer while you are ill, then suffer again, trying to catch up with all the mess they have made. Who'd be a woman. Jenny. |

Rose it sounds as if you need to give yourself more time yet to get over that flu. It's hard I know when you see things around the house that want doing. It's the little things that get to you, when you are low. 4 adults in this house have had further education, 3 of them have degrees.... but... where is their know-how when it comes to replacing a toilet roll? I hope you feel alot better this week. Gwyn |

Rose, I would not try to do too much at all, if you are still feeling weak. My flu lasted three weeks, all over Christmas and the New Year. It took me weeks to get over it, I too had never known anything like it. If I was living nearby, I would come and do a bit of housework for you. Saying that, I am not even sure where about's you are. Jenny. |

Hi Jenny, I'll be joining you soon last member is in the shower. Rose, I do feel for you. I broke my leg two years ago and was helpless for 8 weeks as I could not put any weight on it at all. The family had to rally round as stuff had to be done. It's taught them to help out more and me to be a bit more relaxed about standards. Knowing that things need to be done but being unable to do them is very frustrating. I hope you feel better soon. Gwynne |
